Q:How long after applying this product should I wait to apply again if weeds are still growing
by|Jun 16, 2012

Answer This Question
A: You should wait at least 6 weeks before applying it again .It has nitrogin in it that promotes growth and keep's it green .Read the application instruction's for your spreader. The bag has many models on it that tell you what setting to use . If it is not listed there use it on a low number like 5 ,you want a medium application .If you are having weed's still, you just need to apply a heavier coat. Apply it when it is wet ,dew ,a light rain before the application is great. It should be warm and dry condition's for about 48 hour's after .

Q:What else (and how) can I use to kill crabgrass?

Answer This Question
A: Do not mix this product with anything . If you have applied any other to the lawn before Scott's wait 2 weeks and regular rain or watering before you apply. Some other product's may have high nitrogin and if you combine it ,it could burn the grass. It work's great just by itself. It takes about 3 weeks and light watering .Don't over water any lawn or you will wash away your product and will get weed's and mold ,mushroom's etc ..

A: Put the Grub X down 2 weeks before applying Scott's or any fertilizer. It will keep the Grub X from doing it's job. Scott's should be applied after any product ,lime ,etc ...about 2 weeks.
