Q:Is this fitting safe to use in a saltwater aquarium?

A:  Our polymer fittings are impervious to biofilm deposits, corrosion and do not contain heavy lead or metal. All are ASTM F2159, ASTM F2098 and NSF 14 certified.     A:  Yes you can. Our polymer fittings are impervious to biofilm deposits, corrosion and do not contain heavy lead or metal. PEX pipe fittings are available in sizes 3/8″, 1/2″ and 3/4″. All are ASTM F2159, ASTM F2098 and NSF 14 certified.
