A:  I haven't drank from mine I know it has a smell of hose to it when it gets turned on, but we leave our water on so its water that has been sitting in the hose. After the water has run for a bit I personally would drink from it. It's not listed as a food safe hose.

A:  Yes, the garden hose doesn't take the washer's water pressure-it just supplies the water. The washer's high pressure pump takes it from there and puts it through the washer's high-pressure hose.

A:  Not for the pressurized part, but for the water input feed to the pressure washer, it should work.
