Q:Hi, I purchased these doors and the specs indicate wood frame. However, it does seem like they are capped in composite, is that the case? They frame seems to have a non-wood feeling so that is good and was my main concern. I will be keeping this door!

A:  You are correct that you have a composite door frame. We have recently started shipping all doors except our steel doors with a composite frame.

Here is how to determine the swing of door: Take the hinge side approach: If you can see the hinges when the door is closed – door opens toward you // Lock side: If you cannot see the hinges when the door is closed – you can see the lock side – door opens away from you.
