Q:How much space is required next to the door, when considering the hardware? For specifications, our opening is 30", with 2.25" trim on each side. Narrow area around the door--only have about 37" from the trim to the wall on either side.

    Q:We live in a condo. Above our existing door( behind the sheet rock) is metal and not 2 x 4's. Is it possible to still mount this? If so, any advice and guidance would be appreciated. We bought this door because it said easy install?? Thanks for your help

    A:  Dear Customer, you would have to drill through the metal, I would suggest use an installer for this.
