          Q:I like the honey wheat color and the way the texture of the carpet looks in this photo. But I don't want a thick carpet where the furniture leaves indent pressed marks due to the weight of the furniture. I need thin carpet to easily open and close the door. But I need carpet to protect the wood flooring underneath the carpet from home office chair that has caster wheels or anything that has wheels to roll on the floor that might damage the wood floors.

          A:  Home Depot has two different qualities of this carpet - About 93 cents per foot and about $1.85 per square foot. The $1.85 went up to $1.98 per foot when I tried to order it. I had to complain that the price changed (bait and switch?). The higher quality is probably what they have for samples in the store - it isn't clearly marked. They seem to have two prices for each sample and can't tell you which is which. They don't know. Get the better quality carpet or you'll be disappointed, I think
