A: Assuming your walls are 8' high, 15 sheets are the minimum number required to cover your walls. I calculated this by adding the footage of each wall together (equals 57'), then add the inches together (equals 21") and divide by 4' (14.25 sheets for the footage and 1/2 sheet for the inches). If the height of the walls are over 8' then this calculation will be too few.

A: The amount of Sheetrock you need depends on the height of the walls. Multiply the height times the length of each wall to get the area of each wall. Add the areas of all the walls together. Divide the total of all walls and the ceiling by the area of the board (4' x 8' = 32') to get the number of panels you need. Hope this helps

A: Sheetrock is 4 feet by 8 feet. If your walls are 8 feet tall, that means your first wall will need 4 sheets, the second one will need 3 and an inch, so 3 sheets and get the leftover from the first wall, same with the third wall (so we are up to 10 sheets) and the last wall will require 5 sheets, for a total of 15. But, that is the ideal, so order an extra for mistakes and whatnot. I would order two extra, but I'm over cautious and don't like going back to the store for just one sheet, one extra would be fine most likely. If your walls are taller than 8 feet, then you have to adjust accordingly, 9 foot walls would require four extra sheets (1 foot by 8 foot strips and you need 15 of these, you can get 4 from each sheet.) Since sheetrock gets taped and spackled, there's not much waste like there is with lumber or tile.
