A: There are clips on the back of the cowl. Press the clip down toward the fan with a screwdriver. Should pop the grill out. https://www.vornado.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/AllCirc.pdf

A: There are screws that hold the grill in place. Look in the owner's manual for the location of the screws or contact Vornado at 1-800-234-0604, 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Central Time, Monday through Friday. You can also email them at consumerservice@vornado.com for assistance.

A: Unscrew the six #1 Phillips head screws on the back plastic grill and the front will come off. Don't lose the screws.

A: There are 3 openings on the front of the fan cover. The cover clips onto the fan body at these 3 openings. Unplug the fan, insert a flat head screw driver into the opening and press the clips inward, one at a time. This will release the clip and allow you to remove the cover.

A: There do not appear to be screws that can be removed for access.
by|May 4, 2023
A: On the fan cover you will see 3 openings. The 3 openings are accessible from the front or rear of fan. The cover clips onto the body. if you insert a small flat head screw driver and push the clips inward one at a time it will release the cover from the frame. The fan blade can then by removed for cleaning by pulling it with your hands off the shaft.

A: It's plastic and doesn't appear to me that it's meant to be opened. I used mine at a construction site and cleaned it up afterward with a can of pressurized air.

A: The fan does not claim energy star rating but it cools the room to the point that you can raise the temperature in your house which would save energy

A: No, this is not Energy Star certified.
by|May 4, 2023
A: No. It is however Energy Efficient. A quick internet search revealed energy consumption between 40w and 110w. In other words, it takes minimal effort to run the fan from a power perspective. They are very effective, I'd highly recommend one.

Answer This Question
A: No, the fan bracket/brace is meant to be installed on a wall.
by|May 4, 2023
A: Maybe, but it would require modification. This fan is meant to sit on the floor and it pulls air from the back.
by|May 4, 2023
A: It may be possible to devise a way to secure this to a ceiling but there is no specified way to do this from the manufacturer.
by|May 4, 2023
A: No, the base is not designed to support the fan in an inverted position.
