Q:My screen door would measure 38 x 90 inches. What Brissa door should I buy?

Answer This Question
A: The height of the Brisa unit is not adjustable. With your height of 90", I do not think there is a Brisa model that would work for you. We do offer other retractable screen models that can have a custom height. I recommend the Inspire 100 or Escape 100.

A: Thank you for reaching out. This is not recommended. Larson would suggest to temporarily place a transition of some kind (e.g. pieces of 2"x4") on each side when you do this.

Answer This Question
A: It attaches to the trim (brick mould in our case) around the door frame.

A: Your opening should be measured from inside of brickmold to inside of brickmold. The Brisa is a surface mount, needing 1’’ x 1’’ flat mounting surface required. Contoured mounting surfaces may require additional caulking or coverings.

Answer This Question
A: No, my doorknob doesn’t but normally I retract the screen before closing the door. There is a good gap between the screen and the door.

A: The Brisa mounts on the surface of the opening which allows there to be a large enough gap between the entry door and Brisa, so there is no handle interference.

Q:Does this screen hold up to a toddler?

Answer This Question
A: The screen fabric of a Brisa screen is purposefully free-floating in the top and bottom guides for safety. Since Brisa is a retractable screen for doors, accidental walk-into collisions can happen. This free-floating design allows the screen to expand upon impact to cushion any collision and then, bounce back. If it does come out of the tracks, the fabric can easily be nudged back into place, so it is ready for the next use. Larson recommends that you retract the screen when not being actively used.

A: If you are talking about the screen itself not the whole door, I don't think it will hold to a toddler and it depend how old. The toddler don't have control compare to us adult.of what they do.Hope you keep that on mind.
