It's tunable, which means you can adjust its white color temperature from 2700K (warm) to 6500K (cool), and it is rated to last up to 20,000 hours. A:  Not the ones from this vendor. They do make such a thing, from other companies, but the cost per bulb is higher than this entire kit.

A:  Mine came with a 14 day free trial of their upgraded camera cloud system, other than that, it just does local recording onto the included 32gb sd card

A:  The camera stores video on a Micro SD memory card that you can view in your computer and yes, you can view videos shot previously using the app.

A:  You need WiFi for it to record but it stores to a micro and card so if it is recording you can watch later. The new wireless cams have a travel mode that you can take anyplace even if there is no WiFi and it records to the SD card and you can watch later from any device that supports the card. People use them as dash cams and take them on vacation.

A:  Yes. Video is recorded on micro SD card and you can remove and plug into any micro SD reader to watch video.

A:  Yes, once the camera is configured with a microSD card inserted and Local recording to microSD card turned on, the camera will continue to continuously record to the microSD card, even when it is offline. A:  Yes, has the energy use monitor, not sure about power rating!!!!

A:  Power must always be on to the bulb for the wifi to work so the bulb can be controlled.

A:  Correct but I think it uses less than 1 watt of electricity to do this. Maybe 5 cents of power over a year? Not an issue for me.

A:  Because the network components need to be powered to respond to commands there is always a small amount of energy used. This phantom waste is well made up in that the bulb uses L.E.D.s as the light source. They are extremely energy efficient!

A:  Hello! Yes, the Wyze Bulb needs to be on Standby Power mode. This is vital for most devices as it requires constant power in order to function. It is not wasting electricity because it will only consume once in use. This reduces the warm-up time for the Bulb that can go into a 'sleep' or 'hibernate' mode once turned off which is common to all devices. A:  My understanding the plug is on but not "wasting" electricity. Are all smart plugs universally designed? I suggest to contact Wyze for product specifications.

A:  Does not waste electricity it has to be on for you to control the bulbs through the Wyze app to turn it on and off and dimming the bulbs.
