Q:My TV antenna is connected to a Dish Network Hybrid Solo Hub and splits the signal two ways. Will swapping the Hybrid Solo Hub to this 2.4 GHz splitter retain a stronger signal for two connections, or does the Hybrid Solo Hub function the same?

          Q:I do not get internet on my cable modem when I connect my cable modem through the 2-Way splitter. Connection is Wall Outlet --->IN port splitter---->OUT port splitter---->Cable modem The problem goes away when I remove the splitter can connect directly.

          A:  GSXFINITY the 2 way splitter cuts the signal strength in half and it may be you have a weak signal to begin with and hence the spiltter is losing too much for the modem to work. I woulkd contact your cable provider and find out if they can boost the signal to your location. Good luck Ron at ron.kipper@idealindustries.com

            Q:Can I use this in reverse? I want to connect two different antenna to the TV. That way I can point the antennas towards two different directions.

                A:  Hey Dave MoCA 2.0 uses frequencies from 500 MHz to 1650 MHz and this splitter is rated from 5 MHz to 2400 MHz so yes it should work. Hope that helps Ron at ron.kipper@idealindustries.com

                    A:  hook the dish directly the dvd either use a data cable or RCA cable the red white and yellow type past the right cable just remember its like sewing one in one out one Main signal in (dish) aux the dvd player goes to an aux jack. IF you try using a splitter like you showed you will garble the signal and drive you and your dad insane. 30 yr service tech dont use a splitter.
