Product Details

High performance 2.4 GHz Digital Splitters are used for splitting a single coax line into 2, 3 or 4 lines. These splitters are designed for applications that operate in the 5 MHz to 2.4 GHz range, which include: Satellite, Digital/HD Cable TV, Broadcast (over the air) TV, CCTV and other general purpose coaxial cable splitting requirements. All ports on the 2.4 GHz splitters are power pass enabled. This allows any of the ports to be used to pass power from the satellite set top box to the satellite dish or multi-switch. All splitters include an internal printed circuit board design inside of a nickel plated zinc die cast housing which helps to improve overall splitter performance in return loss, insertion loss and port-to-port isolation measurements, resulting in a stronger, cleaner signal with more protection from outside signal interference. All 2.4 GHz splitters have a solid, sealed body for improved EMI/RFI performance and a standoff design which allows cables to be routed behind the splitter for tight installations. Machine formed threads on the F ports allow for smooth connector mating. Splitters include a grounding screw port for attaching ground wires and 2 user accessible mounting holes.
  • Use to split a signal 2 ways
  • Nickel-plated housing
  • F-type connections
  • Pair of grounding screws eliminate the need for a grounding block

A:  GSXFINITY the 2 way splitter cuts the signal strength in half and it may be you have a weak signal to begin with and hence the spiltter is losing too much for the modem to work. I woulkd contact your cable provider and find out if they can boost the signal to your location. Good luck Ron at ron.kipper@idealindustries.com

A:  Hi Mike the splitters are bi-directional so you should be able to do that as long as the broadcasts are at different frequencies. Good luck Ron at ron.kipper@idealindustries.com

        Answer This Question

A:  Hey Dave MoCA 2.0 uses frequencies from 500 MHz to 1650 MHz and this splitter is rated from 5 MHz to 2400 MHz so yes it should work. Hope that helps Ron at ron.kipper@idealindustries.com

        by|Oct 4, 2022

A:  To support your MoCA adapters, you'll need splitters that support 1,000 MHz or higher. Yes it does.

A:  This is for splitting 1 signal into 2 .

            by|Jan 9, 2022

A:  hook the dish directly the dvd either use a data cable or RCA cable the red white and yellow type past the right cable just remember its like sewing one in one out one Main signal in (dish) aux the dvd player goes to an aux jack. IF you try using a splitter like you showed you will garble the signal and drive you and your dad insane. 30 yr service tech dont use a splitter.

I cut the cable and needed this when I reconfigured the signal system. It was reasonably priced and delivered the signals where I wanted them.
