Waste of money! Does not wash clothes at top
So it's now mother's day 5/12/2024 and this was installed yesterday. I did my first load in this. As you can see by the pictures it was standard laundry basket of dark clothing. Set on normal cycle - warm. The clothing filled the tub to well below the top of the agitator. The machine spins a dry spin to level it out and I guess weigh in to determine water level. I watched this entire wash cycle for a 1/2 hour or more. The agitator does nothing but go back and forth. Clothes on top are dirty!

Its okay
Its quick, its quiet and it was a good price point for me. However, I dont feel like its getting my clothes clean. It doesn’t take any stains out and some clothes are coming out crunchy. I have 3 kids of various ages and the baby clothes are still stained and the stains are crunchy. My oldest boys socks are coming out crunchy, gross I know. Now that I know this, I will pretreat my clothes but it’s disappointing because my last washer got seriously every stain out and everything felt and smelled clean. **Photo shows sleeves from a baby shirt that was stained with avocado and washed in this washer TWICE.

Decent top load washer, you can change water TEMP.
Decent impeller washer. Not obvious how to change water TEMP and levels but it can be done. Have to download full manual online.
CONS:
- No full manual printed, missing wash cycles and how to change temperature and water levels.
- No countdown timer, some cycles take a really long time, Deep Wash over an hour with Deep Fill.
- Impeller is pretty mellow even on heaviest setting.
- Only one main dial, other options selected through two buttons that don't look like buttons.
- No need new hoses.

AWESOME Washer!! This LG machine is very sturdy and capable of spinning the water out of the laundry quite well!! I am tremendously pleased with the glass see thru lid and convenient fill detergent/fabric softener trays. There are numerous washing cycles, the speed wash works well for an small or micro quick load. The regular, heavy and bedding cycles give much more deep cleaning. There's also the usual water temp settings and deep rinse. And it's very quiet when in use! Lastly, if for some reason the machine errors, there's a way to self diagnose with a cell phone, wow! Awesome Product

Lg 4.1 washer
This washer is horrible first day having it. Washer will not drain clothes the dryer is also horrible saying flow sense. Brand new out the box

Hello, Jeffers! Your safety is our number one concern! And for your dryer, the built-in Flow Sense warning in your LG dryer is made to help avoid poor performance caused by restrictions in the dryer vent exhaust system, thereby alerting you to any issue with your dryer vent so you can get it fixed. To clear the flow sense error, you would need to either have dryer vent cleaning done, reroute the dryer vent, change the hose behind the dryer, or shorten the length of the dryer vent. Your concern with the LG top-load washer not draining could be a couple of things, such as the coin trap or pump filter being dirty. To check and clean the coin trap: Unplug your washer and remove the drain hose from the back of the machine. Locate the coin trap on the front of the washer and remove it. Clean out any debris that may be blocking water drainage. No Frills Clean
After having a disappointing experience with a more expensive unit from another manufacturer, I really wanted to get something a little more straightforward. Yes, technology is in everything but that doesn't always make it better. In this instance that has been true. I just need clean clothes, I'm not landing a rover on mars. So simple controls, with a real agitator, that just gets the job done is my standard and this checks all those boxes.

Excellent Machine that's Simple to Use
The LG top load washer is just what I was hoping for. I appreciate the simple and straightforward design and find an agitator is the key to getting my clothes clean. So many washer have extra, unneeded frills, bells, and whistles. I just need something basic, and this fits the bill. It's a large capacity for my family. The machine feels durable and I am happy with it so far.

Nice washer
So far I am very pleased with this LG 4.1 cu. ft top load washing machine. It has a nice sized stainless steel drum with an agitator that holds lots of dirty clothes. It has plenty of different settings to choose from for big loads, small loads, extra dirty clothes, extra rinsing. It seems to do a nice job getting clothes clean and it does it in a reasonable amount of time. So far, it's been a good choice for a washing machine.

Cycle Time way too long!!!!
Just bought this washer, and although it has some great features. I actually timed a load of 12 bath towels from start to finish, and it took 1 hour and 8 minutes to wash, rinse and spin!!!! The spin cycle was at least 10 minutes!!!! That’s a long time for 1 load in my opinion.

More options for better cleaning
This washing machine really gives me more options than my previous washing machine because this one gives me the option to add 2 additional rinses to a cycle for when im washing things that are heavily soiled & required more detergent. I love that it also has the "deep fill" feature where it allows me to add more water before starting the regular cycle. There is even a "delay wash" feature. Now the machine itself is sleek looking with a glass window at the top and controls are easy to read. It came with so much instructions & tips for usage that i feel confident this machine will serve my family well that -im really going to enjoy using this machine! The drum with agitator is large enough for winter bedding with the agitator moving the clothing from top to bottom. I have no complaints with this washing machine and would highly recommend this one.

Nice and compact but plenty of capacity
A classic white enamel finish top loading washing machine. It does not get any more old school than this. You will avoid all the mold problems you can get with front loaders by using this very nice top loading washer. The controls are simple - with no real complex electronics..another plus. That plus a classic design you get exactly what you see here.

Great washer
Oh, this top load dishwasher from LG is an awesome dishwasher. For anyone who is proficient in doing the laundry, which should be everyone you should know by now that top loaders are much easier to work with than side loaders. I really appreciate the design of this because it inherently cleans more clothes but it also is a well-built machine. It’s easy to use and I feel there’s a higher level quality. I’ve gone through a lot of washers in my day and I really like this one. I would recommend it to anyone who needs a dishwasher or is in the shopping phase.

the LG 4.1 cu. ft. Top Load Washer with Agitator in White has all the features needed to wash any type of load of laundry. The design of the stainless-steel drum gives extra scrubbing power with the raised dimples instead of a smooth sided drum. The controls are simple without a lot of extra selection and knowledge need as in the digital displays in most models today. Just select the type wash you want and push start. LED indicator lights show you the status of the wash, cycle, and temperature of the water. The detergent and softener tray are conveniently located above the drum at the rear below the control panels. The bleach dispenser is at the left corner which minimizes the bleach getting directly on the laundry. The owner's manual included is one of the best I have seen in quiet a while.

Very quiet washer well-made washers really well
Just install dishwasher and it is very quiet. Very easy to install. Comes with leveling feet. Just in case your floor is unlevel. And they even marked the hot and cold water supply lines. But nice stainless steel wash been as large and holds a lot of laundry. The automatic water level system is very accurate and senses the right amount of water for the amount of clothes in there. Overall very happy really really happy that it’s quiet and it’s really cool that the glass is clear so you can see exactly what’s going on inside.

Here is one of LG's top of the line Top Load Washer with Agitator that can handle almost anything you want to wash. It does the load balancing as part of the initial fill and wash process. Additionally it locks the lid as the process begins as a protection method that can be unlocked to add something you over looked and want to add to the load. I have included a shot of operations panel for you to see the choices you have for customizing the wash process. Additionally I have a shot of the pull out tray to add liquid fabric and liquid soap on the unit for you view. An additional view shows your water temperature and rinse and spin plus water levels, The unit was delivered with stainless steel hosing and labeling indicating which one was hot or cold. This washer arrived and took me about 15 minutes to disconnect the old washer, clean up the area and another 15 minutes to connect the new hoses, turn on the water and plug the unit in. In my case the unit moved thru the 30 inch door with ease.

Efficient, quiet and easy to use
We’ve been using an “impeller” washing machine for several years, but recently decided to go with this LG agitator machine as my wife thinks the agitator will do a better job on our regular household laundry. She also doesn’t like washing work clothes, dog blankets, etc. in the same machine as her stuff, so the old washer (which still works) will be used for that. The LG machine has an impressive estimated annual energy cost of just $17. Other features - a see through, soft close lid, 10 year warranty on the motor, and reasonably quiet operation. The water level in the tub doesn’t usually cover all the clothes, but the agitator continuously circulates items from top to bottom so everything does get cleaned. There is also a “deep fill” option if you want to add more water. So far we’ve had no issues with unbalanced loads, which had been an ongoing problem with our old washer. Overall it’s easy to use - not too many confusing options, it’s very high efficiency, and the wash cycles seem considerably shorter than with our previous impeller machine.

Best washer ever!! We thought it was broken the first load or two because it is so quiet. Now we laugh because you could definitely hear our old one spinning. We got the impeller one which is awesome with his military uniforms, it evens it all out itself. We love it!

II am very happy so far with my new washing machine. I’ve had it about 3 weeks. The only negative is that it is a little difficult to reach to the bottom of iit when removing the clothes when it is finished washing.
