Good dowel though a bit pricey but that seems to be the economy we live in currently no fault of the dowel itself.

It works as intended.

Not ready to use as it needs sanding (a little rough) but good in general

Perfect for school project

I am being asked to write a review about a dowel, and For that you gotta respect the chutzpah. 3 stars for the rod and 2 stars for the Home Depot algo for just committing to the bit.

Using the dowels for craft projects.

I will never shop at the Home Depot in new Orleans east because of its 90day return rules

Over all things was great

I really needed 1 1/2 -inch diameter but this was largest carried in store so I was able to make it work for my purpose.

The product is okay, but Home Depot is the worst organization in the market. They say that they support Military, but cap the Military spending at $400.00 per year to get the discount. Lowe’s would never do that. Home Depot’s Marketing Group should be ashamed of their promises, with reduced commitments to our Vets.

Sturdy easy to cut .

Initial dimensions and shape are good. Grain is course to the point of generating large splinters. Probably OK for indoor use with good sealer and paint or varnish.

Come on...who doesn't love a good hardwood dowel?! Works perfectly for extra insurance as a sliding porch door 'wedge' so no one enters despite the flimsy pole that originally came with mine.
