Terrible locking mechanism. Won’t work, screen barely stays closed. Horrible design

This door was very easy to install and worked great for my door. I love that it has the lines in the screen to make it easier to see.

If you have dogs (kids prob aren’t a good suit either) not recommend. My dogs barge right threw the door causing/destroying the screen no shame in their game. The doors have been hard to latch from day 1. They do not stay closed and sometimes you have to slam it to catch. Doing this over and over makes the screen bunch up and leaves gaping gaps where it should be sealed. I do not think replacing the screen would make a difference.

The Brisa White Tall Double Retractable Screen Door Kit contains components that are very good quality. They are integral to a specific design for proper function of the doors. The assembly instructions have two issues that gave me problems. First, they are very brief and leave much unsaid especially for someone who has limited experience. Second, the diagrams in the brief instructions do not match the parts that came in the kit that I received. The mismatch diagrams and the brief instructions caused me to cut the bottom and top rails too short! I managed to splice pieces together to complete the installation. However, I am not confident that the doors will remain trouble free in the future. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to give feedback.

It looks nice and is operating well. However, 3 minute installation is not realistic. Since my French doors did not exactly fit the screen it took me 1 1/2 hours. I did have to cut and install a spacer above the doorway.

Directions were not great, takes a little time to decipher them but the product looks very good and works well!

Agree on the previous bad review, the screen is made of plastic mesh and does not secure to the frame. It slide off easily when you gently push on it. My cat lean on it when she is laying down, the mesh popped out. You can easily use your finger to push it back in but definitely not worth the price tag like other mentioned. Other problem is it doens't lock on both side, when you lock one side, you can still opened it from the other side.. What's the point? 2 stars for easy installation.

The quality of the screen door frame was poor. The screens kept coming out of the tracks. I ended up returning it.

lasted 2 years and did well, But at $150 per year plus tax... should have lasted longer. It had light use, no children in the house, only used on hot summer nights. One night we closed it, the next morning the screen was loose and couldn't get it to retract. Hubby is trying to fix it, I haven't been able to find replacement parts. Hopefully will be able to fix this, if not I won't be buying another to replace it. I don't recommend.

The assembly of the components was somewhat difficult because the instructions were a bit lacking in description and the illustrations didn't show enough detail. Mounting the completed assembly was easy and straight forward. The finished product works perfect and I am very pleased with it.

Great product, we had to make it work on the outside of the frame, which was not the original plan, but mad it work and is awesome!

Weeks after installing, was sitting my living room and the screen snapped back and now doesn’t have any spring or resistance. Making it unusable.

Flimsy?..yes, but not the issue for me. Purchase it 2 yrs ago and now opened the box (procrastinated and finding installer) to find screen pulling away from frame. Tried pushing it back in. Quickly, became worse. Purchased a special glue. My bad, didn't dry clear, but white on my black screen now a mess. Being frustrated, I just wanted another and hope it had no problems. Paid $300, now $500! Well, I lived without a screen for 2yrs, and did fine. Wished I checked it on arrival and returned it.

This was super easy to install, added much needed access to fresh air from atrium doors leading to deck/patio!

Great product, definitely not easy-to-install. We had to hire a handyman to modify the base of our existing threshold and cut the base plate and other pieces on the retractable unit. Maybe this is a 0minute install for some doors, but not our french doors. Other than that, the screens have held up to dogs banging against them and a dinner party. LOVE being able to keep our doors open and enjoy the fresh, spring air. Wish there were more color options. Hope the product is long-lasting!

Love this screen. Just want I needed. I have two cats that love to sit at the door and watch the birds. I needed a screen strong enough for them not to push through. This screen is well built and sturdy. Not to hard to put together once you figure out which way the cross bars go

I had this screen installed yesterday. The very first time we opened and closed it, both sides of the screens at both the top and bottom fell out of the tracks. I am having this uninstalled and returning it! It's really too bad, I can't get my money back from the installer! I AM SO DISAPPOINTED IN THE QUALITY!

These screen doors seem to be working well. Hopefully they last seem a little light but are working fine.

Perfection. Took longer to set up than advertised. This is the second one I have installed. Instructions were not very clear. as to sequencing and sliding og top and bottom rails into the sides.
