The screen fabric of a Brisa screen is purposefully free-floating in the top and bottom guides for safety. Since Brisa is a retractable screen for doors, accidental walk-into collisions can happen. This free-floating design allows the screen to expand upon impact to cushion any collision and then, bounce back. Brisa fabric will not typically "blow-out" of the tracks unless there is heavier wind. If it does, the fabric can easily be nudged back into place, so it is ready for the next use. Larson recommends that you retract the screen in heavier winds and when not being actively used.
