This is the first time I used an Amdro product. The Outdoor Insect Killer was used to remove carpenter ants that began to nest inside the foam insulation within my garage door. The 1st application worked quickly so I didn't need to use the Amdro Carpenter Ant and Bee concentrate.

I’ve long been a proponent of buying concentrates over buying the pre-mixed hose end spray bottles for a long time. You’ll save money and reduce the number of plastic bottles being thrown away. Note from my picture that different concentrations (either 0.003%, 0.02% or 0.04%) are needed depending on the pest. The solution is simple to mix using the cap with markings for teaspoons, tablespoons and ounces. All the instructions refer to ounces per gallon. I used a pump sprayer with a fan spray that hit both the side of my house and the surrounding ground at the same time. I also used a concentration between .003% and .02%. Amdro was approved for use by the EPA in 1980, so it has been around for a very long time. The label states that it kills over 500 different insects

I have a serious Fire Ant problem as many other people in my area. I have used Fire ant killer powders, granules, and crystals that have helped somewhat but sometimes are not at all effective in killing the mound after 24 or more hours. Watering in granules is a pain! But when I saw this concentrate liquid to mix with water for spray I was delighted. I used the mix as directed on fire ant hills around 2 trees I was trying to landscape. Within a few minutes they started dying. I waited about 2 hours due to large size of the mounds and found the fire ants dead! Was able to complete my project much more easily and quickly! I will be using this product on the other numerous mounds in my yard! I highly recommend this product!

It is a concentrate so hopefully you already have a sprayer. The cap has measurements on either end to assist with mixing/dilution. I don't find anything about this product that makes it stand out from the half dozen other brands with similar claims. I did not see anything that states the ratio of insect killer to water. Since the container has 32 fluid ounces and it states that it can make up to 32 gallons, I assume its 1 oz concentrate to the gallon of water. One notable item is that it does kill fleas, ticks and mosquitoes apparently "on contact only" because it excludes them from the "Lasts up to 3 Months" claim. The specifications also claim that it is Safe for Pets and Safe for Edibles. I have no reason to doubt the claim but I tend to take precautions with my pets. If I spray our backyard with any chemicals I typically keep my pets away for at least 24 hours. I currently don't have edibles so no concerns there.

I bought this product due to an invasion of crane flies in my lawn. Used it as directed and I think I now have more than I did before. Really unhappy about this.

This producr is good, however there should be a better chart for mixing instructions. For example. for extra strength use X amount of Amdro with X amount of water Or for regular strength use X amount of Amdro (lesser amount) with X amount of water. There are some areas in my yard that need EXTRA STRENGTH and other that need only regular strength because of a lesser infestation.

Stunned to find the label calls for 16oz of this product per gallon of water. Most pesticides require 1 or 2 oz. This product is extremely diluted, I guess its good for their profits though. Big waste of money.

Does a GREAT job of killing Japanese Beetles

Seems to be working,however, we have had a rainstorm since application, so we will see!

I use this for fire ant control, by injecting the suggested mixed solution (usually about a qt. of the suggested mixture) directly into any mound that appears...........to inject the solution, I use a deep root feeder injecting tool, this works very quickly a efficiently.....works every time.

Followed the instructions and it worked.

A more effective and much more economical and environmentally option than sprays .

I cleared all cobwebs from around my house and sprinkled Quick Kill generously. Next morning...lots of cobwebs so I repeated the process. Next morning...more cobwebs. Repeated again and this time no cobwebs the following morning but the next morning it was if I had never used a spider killer at all. This MIGHT work on other insects but it does not kill spiders.

Works on just about every bad creatures, roaches, ants, spiders, etc. I spray around the house just about every other month.

Still determining but i tried it on some ant hills it appears to be working but slowly.

We've been using it on the corners of our patio, and it works pretty well!! We don't have to re-apply often, and there is a huge reduction in the normal amount of insects on the patio. Highly recommend!

This was more than enough according to the description. It's affordable and kept our yard as nice as possible- the heat made it hard to really keep all bugs away but it did work! Easy to apply if you have a sprayer. Definitely an affordable option to try.

I don't have a lot of places either my dog or that isn't heavily trafficked by the neighbor dogs, so i areas I could try it out. while is did get rid of a few ants around my garbage cans for a while, I wish this not a concentrate and had a spray bottle option.

This product appears to have done what it was intended to do for my use. I had a terrible problem on the concrete surrounding my swimming pool. Nothing would stop the ants from coming onto the concrete and biting anyone who was near. I mixed and used a sprayer to spray this product (according to directions of course) all around the perimeter of the concrete and the surrounding stones and grass. No sign of ants ever since. 3 weeks have gone by and no ants at all. *Note: It also did NOT stain the white concrete nor kill any vegetation (grass, weeds, bamboo) that it got on. It dries quickly and without odor. One bottle of this is enough to mix quite a lot of killer. I am VERY pleased so far with this product. It has wiped out the ant issue (and it was a bad one) as well as spiders and anything else that wants to join me by the pool. Highly recommend (but follow the directions!).

This product was very fast acting on the mound we treated and all activity was completely gone. I found this product to be easy to use and affordable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was great but I wish it wasn't liquid. The product set out to do what it stated. I recently used it to kill some ant hills that where developing in my back yard and they haven't formed again. The only issued I had is that you tend to use more than ypu should, because the product is liquid and the spray nosel is not the best. Other than the minor inconvenience on the way to use the product, it actually got the job done. As so as order it doesn't have an odor that I could perceived, but still take your precautions when using it like any product use for eliminating insects.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I make sure to always read what products say about pet health in case my dogs accidentally come into contact with the product, especially since we have a five lb yorkie, his tiny size means any exposure could effect his health. So when we use it, we make sure it's the front yard instead of the back and that he won't be around the treated area any time soon. I also wish it had come with a container for diluting, since this was a concentrated formula. We are just starting to get hot weather, so I may update this review after we use it a couple more times.
