The steel wall plates are so much better than the cheap plastic ones. They don't crack if you accidentally over tighten them and they look nicer.

I bought this replacement face plate for the kitchen and my home and it’s working great. It was easy to install no problem. The original one was plastic and the plastic one busted right at the screw so this one is sure not to break because it is metal.

The new switch plates look great in the kitchen and where priced very reasonably

The person who gave me a refund/credit for returned items was extremely helpful. The Home Depot return policy is very customer friendly, expert, efficient and highly appreciated.

I have Hampton Bay wall plates throughout the house that I’ve had for a number of years. We were redecorating another room and went with that brand again. They have a variety of styles to choose from and they are reasonably priced.

Plate is nice & solid (not flexible) and should hold up well in the garage where the plastic cover plate was broken. Color and finish are uniform and without defect. Plate fit as expected.
