The tool is decent in concept and I liked the backside caulk smoother, but poor in quality overall. It'd be better if it was all metal and one solid piece (except the bottom side tool and grip). The scraper blade is held to the handle with plastic dimples, so when you're going at caulk with effort, the plastic wears out and the blade comes off. The one I bought didn't even make it through one tub.

I bought this tool to caulk around the new trim in our kitchen and family room. So fast and easy! Just put a bead of caulk where it needs to be then run this tool over it. With a little practice it looks like a professional did it.

Took the advice of the other reviewers and bought the tool. Didn't fully believe until I tried it out. Have always used the finger method and this tool makes the finger obsolete. No more continuously washing hands, makes clean up a breeze, and creates very straight lines with ease. Haven't tried the scraping attachments but the smoother is worth the money alone. Very happy with purchase, good work Husky.

I've been a contractor for over 40 years, and have tried numerous caulk smoothing tools, but none were worth using again, (with fingers being the greatest tool by far, preferably in a tight latex glove); but this tool is a dream, no more fingers, it works perfect! A funny thing is, I was told about this tool, by my son who works with me, when he says his sister, bought one, even though he told her, dad has tried them all and says, there aren't any good ones,……THANK YOU DAUGHTER!!! ;o)

Thank you , Thank you, Thank you Workforce. I've struggled with trying to get a smooth even caulk fill for years, and now it's unbelievably easy. The rubber tip on this tool is like a squeegee - just fantastic. Best money I ever spent.

I've been in construction trades for most of my life, have always used a wet rag and finger to wipe caulk on with. Wife bought this so she could redo the caulk in the tub, which I ended up doing. I don't know why I didn't buy one of these a long time ago, way easier, cleaner, and faster especially for silicone caulk vs latex. Only issue is corners can be tough to smooth correctly, but no worse than by hand.

I abhor caulking. Both removing and installing. This tool changed my mind. The whole project was a breeze. In fact I have done three other areas and am looking for more. The tool is of good quality and the price is a bargain. USA made. I'm embarrassed that I didn't discover this years ago.

This is a good tool to remove caulk. But you will need a utility knife and/or scraper

Had some really old bath tub caulk, and wasn't sure how well this would work. The tool was remarkably simple to use and efficient in removing the hardened caulk.

I love this tool. I originally got the plastic two-piece one that I found in-store but then discovered this one online that is available in my local store. The caulk remover metal end is very sturdy and removed my 16+ years caulk/mold. The caulk smoother end was very useful to clean off the smears after the used a popsicle stick to smooth it out...I didn't use it to do the smoothing.

This is the very first time I have ever removed caulking & then applied new caulking. This tool made it so easy, with the assistance of mineral spirits, to remove caulking. Then applying the new caulking with the other end of this tool was so easy! Would highly recommend!!

I like this tool. It took me no time to break down and scrape away the old caulk around my tub. It works in those awkward angles and that's what I appreciated the most.

I was able to remove old caulking quickly with the end of the tool for removing caulk and then after putting a small amount of new caulk on was able to smooth it quickly to desired width. I was done with the job from removal to finish within a half an hour. I highly recommend this tool, even for professsionals, and especially for beginners!

This was the best purchase I could have ever made to aid me in doing my tub/shower caulk job. I was definitely NOT looking forward to the job, and smoothing the caulk is usually the hardest part. This little tool aided me well. The metal part was good for removing the old caulk from the crevices. The plastic scraper was great for removing the leftover caulk on the tub and wall. The best part of the tool is the silicone end that is used for smoothing. It was so easy after a couple practice runs ( to get the proper angle) to smooth the caulk. The job looked so professional and was so much easier than using the "wet finger" smoothing approach! The only thing that would have made an improvement on this tool is the fact that the remover blade is fixed. If it was able to swivel or could be removed, it would have been perfect. There were a couple times that I reached an angle that was hard to reach with the scraper because the fixed blade was in the way. No biggie though, I was able to adjust and make it work.

This tool is easy to use and the scraper works great although, it is a little small so make sure you don’t apply too much caulk or you will have to keep wiping off the excess material with a rag. A must have for every home owner.
