Would I have to remove my toilet to use this on my toilet drain?

Would I have to remove my toilet to use this on my toilet drain?
Asked by: errdaddy
No, DO NOT use this on your toilet unless you want to ruin it, I used this on my toilet and this left scratches on the pot all over, this tool isnt worth it, and these folks do not have any documentation or guide saying this. Stay away from this, my advise.

How do you connect the cord to the handle

Asked by: Pheorama
Unscrew the wingnut in the handle newrly all the way. Slide the cable from the skinny end all the way through the handle so at least a foot sticks out the other side. Tighten the nut.

can you use this on a toilet?

Asked by: Jake
I don't think it's meant for a toilet. I would use just a plunger.

How do you put it together

Asked by: Brian
Loosen screw on side of bent tube. Slide cable through middle of hollow tube to desired length. Tighten screw. Grasp tube with both hands, one on each "handle" and start cranking while pushing cable into clogged hole.

I've previously owned a barrel style auger, but like this style better from the stand point of using it as a auger. The spinning action of the handle is preferred over barrel styles. However, the unused portion of the wire extending behind when the full length is not needed could be problematic as far as making a mess. I would buy again.
