$850 water bill
I purchased 9 of these . Flapper has a silicone ring attached to the bottom of it. Ring separated from flapper preventing it from forming a seal . Toilet ran for a month on vacation $850 water bill. I have snapped ring back into place and it continues to detach . Ordering a new part, if that doesn't fix it , I'll throw toilet in the trash. I'm not a plumber . However I have done my own plumbing on 120 rental units for 30 years. I receive a plumbers discount at the plumbing store because I buy "twice as much as a plumber".

The tank cracked.
The tank cracked after 3 years and leaking to downstair , all messed up.
I am trying to replace to tank and found their are lots of customer review claimed the tank cracking issue. I decided to buy a new toilet instead and this is my first review on website and I thought I should do it and let people be aware.

OMG! Buyer BEWARE. DO NOT purchase this product.
I thought this was a good product for my 3 bathrooms to my dismay I returned home to find water on my bathroom floor and a cracked toilet tank. I really wish that I had read the reviews prior to purchasing 3 toilets for my home because I'm seeing a lot of negative reviews for this product. I'm considering replacing all 3 toilets with a higher quality product because I'm afraid that is will happen in my other bathrooms and cause more damage to my property. Less than par product!

Toilet headache
American Standard itself is great. The transportation company they use to ship new toilets broke our toilets two times: shattered. Finally AS said they would reimburse us if we bought it ourselves.
