Cheap plastic cutting corners at customers expense
These handles look like chrome (steel) but actually are plastic that breaks over repeated use. How do you avoid using a toilet flush lever, come on, make it to last in America and quit trying to slip one over on the consumer.

American Standard Toilet Tank Lever
You need to order this part as it is not carried in store. The one the clerk recommended will not work.
The correct one is made of plastic. It is 3 times the price of the generic one in the store.

Flush lever handle
Lever worked fine. We did not like the shape of the handle. It tapers to a point with not much flat area to push on when flushing. My wife scratched her hand using it. We returned it.

Do your homework and get the right rplacement part
I needed to replace the tank trip lever on my American Standard Champion4 toilet. After several universal replacements failed after a few months I decided to go back with the correct replacement part from American Standard. The few dollars more I spent on this lever easily would have paid for by the money I spent on the universal types that eventually failed.

Good product
Original equipment works much better than the universal replacement I tried.
Still wish manufacturer would make portions of this product from a stronger plastic so that it lasts longer than 1-2 years.

If it wasn't plastic it wouldn't have broke in the first place.
This is from an American Standard toilet. Which is made in Mexico. With cheap plastic parts. I had to replace the whole guts of this toilet also. I bought two of these because it will break again. Not if, when. I would probably not buy another American Standard toilet. Completely garbage.

Expensive part cheaply made
The special order replacement toilet tank lever is the only one that fits the American standard #4266 toilet tank, but does not fit right and does not flush the same as the original. Not worht the price, but what other options are available????

Toilet trip handle
Handle installed easily. I used part number provided by American Standard. Home Depot sells American Standard toilets and is where I bought 2 units but does not stock parts in store.

Poor product .
Third time I am replacing it. Buying 2 at a time now. Everything else for the toilet is great. There are no 3rd party parts for this.

Cheap plastic handle!
The handle breaks every 3-4 months! It should be made out of brass, or something stronger than the cheap plastic that breaks way too easy.
Excellent Toilet if the handle was not such a problem.

Champion 4 Trip Lever Polished Chrome
I love this toilet and this Trip Lever works exactly as it was designed (perfectly). However, this toilet has a special design and if you attempt to use (ANY) other trip level, you will be sadly disappointed. Trust me, its not cheap and either is the toilet but both the toilet and the correct trip lever are well worth the money.
