Once I started work to put in my manifold for pex installation, I tried crimping these sleeves and it didn't work. I tried adjusting my crimper and nothing worked. Then I closed my crimper and inserted one of these sleeves and it fell right through the crimper. I had to go buy different crimp rings in order to finish the pex installation on the manifold. The sleeves have to be slightly larger than the 3/4" hole on the crimper in order to crimp correctly. I threw the bag of sleeves in the trash.

These rings do not work with the Apollo crimp tool that I rented. The rental guys thought it would but it did not. This probably works well with the correct tool because you do not have to locate the ring while crimping.

Great product but you need a very expensive crimping tool...
Great product but you need a very expensive crimping tool to use. With the correct tool this product provides a double crimp far superior to the cheaper products.
