Within one month, the little plastic bolts that hold the door on completely disintegrated. Now we have a mailbox without a door, and when I asked the company for a replacement piece, they never wrote back. No response.

plastic "bolts" that connects door broke
Beautiful mailbox but really? you guys used plastic bolts that connect to the door to the mailbox housing? Broke with regular use after about 2 months. I replaced with actual steel bolt.

I like the quality of the mailbox. The door stays closed with a small magnetic catch - which is primarily why I purchased it. The other bonus is- it's taller than my old box giving me more room for packages. The length of the box was the same so it was easy to replace & put on the same post.

Not happy at all with this mail box. The hatch door keeps falling off. Plastic screws will not stay attached. I love the colour but for the price I paid its poorly made. I complained to Home Depot but was advised to BUY new screws at a hardware store. I really like Home Depot but this is unacceptabl

Love it, love it. love it! It's a beautiful red, very sturdy, opens and closes easily due to the magnet inside the door. Don't forget to get the bottom mounting plate; you'll need it and it works far better than using a small slab of wood and drilling holes. Hubby installed it in less than 10 minutes.

Love the look and shape of this mailbox - it I bigger than I thought which is great! Came within 2 days of ordering and and was easy to replace on my existing curb post! The pull handle is a plus! Great value too!
