These are all the rage with teenagers right now. You can have a light show in your room, office, kitchen, man cave, gaming room, bathroom, garage, or where ever you want. I put mine on top of my cabinets and adjust the light to suit my mood or the season. I like that you can adjust the brightness or customize the length. I also have them around part of my daughter's room. It's easy to change the color and brightness with the remote. She loves them.

Very nice light tape. All of the included hardware is good. The remote is fairly standard and could be easily lost. Really like the many options and looks you can get out of the tape. The color is good and not far off from what you think the color should look like. I've used some LEDs and the color was off. Green was not Green and red was more pink but this is really good.

These are cool lights that I can hardly wait to get put up around the porch on the camper. These multi-color lights are small but powerful and bright. I like the remote control that comes with them so you can pick the color or just leave them white to give optimum light. They are very easy to install and the power cord is long enough to reach the power source at a distance. They are small enough that they can fit nicely under the handrails and not be seen till they are turned on. They are well made and should provide light for quiet some time. I really like them and they are going to look real good.

The Armacost Lighting RibbonFlex Home 16 ft. Multi-Color + White LED Tape Light Kit with Remote is a simple way to add a splash of colored lighting to the underside of cabinets, backlighting to a TV, etc. The package contains a roll of LED lights. A simple remote and the power supply. The remote is simple and easy to use. It provides the ability to not only the ability to turn the string on and off, but also to change the color, and also to change the function of the lights. The light strip is bright, but can be dialed back with the remote. The strip is backed with a nice adhesive that should stick well to most surfaces. I would recommend using a mechanical fastener as a backup, just the same. Overall, I am quite pleased with this setup.

Gorgeous Lighting!! After carefully reading the ‘very important safety information’ and very detailed instructions, I decided to experiment with it under my cedar chest. I love that the remote control makes it so convenient to turn the lights on and activate it’s many lighting options. It has a brightness/dim control and 30 different light colors. It also has 43 color changing special effects and a speed button for those color changing effects. My husband thinks it beautiful!! Too cool… We love it!!

Well made and very bright, with lots of color choices. Originally I was planning on using this for under counter lights, but my kids have been trying to make their covid remote school desks a bit more fun, so we put it around a desk instead. The kit was nicely packed and seems well made. There is a good amount of wire between the power adapter and the controller/receiver at the end of the strip. The receiver/controller is compact and shrink wrapped in white so it matches the white color of the LED strip and has a self adhesive back to it so it can be mounted securely. Unlike some LED strips, this receiver is soldered to the LED strip via approx 8” of white cord rather than using a connector, which makes for a reliable connection, but may be an issue for some people if they want to be able to have the receiver in a different spot from the LEDs. The LED strip itself is backed with self adhesive 3M tape which stuck well to the smooth surface of the desk, though it may be a bit problematic on a textured wall (which is another place the kids wanted it). The strip is easily cut to length with scissors- just be sure to cut it at one of the designated spots. An interesting feature of this strip versus some of the others I have tried is that there are actually pairs of LEDs along the strip - one LED is white and the other is RGB to provide the colors. Normally only the RGB one or the white one will be on, but it is possible to set the RGB LEDs to white AND turn on the white LEDs at the same time making for a very bright white light. The LED pairs are spaced approximately 1.5” apart giving a fairly even light along the strip - some strips will have LEDs spaced further apart, making for an uneven lighting effect. The controller has plenty of choices of color, brightness and effects and works great even when used in another room not in the line of sight with the LED strip (presumably it is using an RF signal rather than infra red)! The only complaint I have about this strip is that it is a bit spendy compared to some, however it does seem to be better quality than others I have tried.

The ARMACOST LIGHTING RIBBONFLEX HOME 16 FT. MULTI-COLOR + WHITE LED TAPE LIGHT KIT WITH REMOTE is very easy to use. Follow the directions which are very well written. The adhesive backing sticks very well under my cabinet. I like the different colors and brightness. The remote is small but I keep it in my cupboard so I don't lose it. You can connecore than one string.

This is a nice kit. The tape runs on 24VDC which allows it to draw less amperage for the same light output than 12VDC kits. It has a small power supply/transformer that plugs into the wall to convert your AC 110 or 120V to 24VDC. The tape has pairs of LED chips running down the length of the strip. One chip makes “White” light and the other chip contains Red and Blue and Green emitters. The Red and Green and Blue mix to make a rainbow of colors and the White chip provides additional punch. The included wireless remote can control dimming of the two different sets of chips individually. The RGB portion has a number of preset colors on the remote. The remote also has a number of built in effects. The whole kit is pretty versatile, yet simple to use. I had it out of the box and plugged in and running in less than a minute. This kit also comes with two sets of jumper wires to help get through holes or around corners or however else that you can think of to use them. The kit also includes a couple of self adhesive hooks to aid with cable management. The LED tape itself is backed with adhesive tape.

Armacost Lighting's Multicolor + White tape light kit is pretty convenient for adding accent lighting almost anywhere. If you want or need the versatility of a multi-color kit, this is excellent - easy to install, easy-enough to control with the remote, and many (28?) combinations of white only, color only or white+color. Great if you have the need for a blue-light for backlighting, or white under-cabinet lights, or mood lighting where you can change color to suit your fancy. That being said, for my chosen application (white, dimmable, under-cabinet lighting), having to deal with a remote is perhaps a bit of overkill.

Love these lights and they are so simple to install. I installed them on my sons bunkbed and they look great. He loves them. You just peel back the adhesive tape on the back of the lights and then stick them wherever you want. The cord on the end is nice and long so you can reach a plug that is a little ways away. There is nothing else to do. You just start using the remote and off you go. Its really pretty cool.

Don't give up immediately if you don't like the color of the lighting from this multi-color LED tape light kit. My husband found a color I like for above our kitchen cabinets. Now I like the look. (I wanted a warm white, which he reached by using the brightest setting under RGB.) Installation: The stick-on light strip is so easy to install. Plugging it in is NOT so easy. My lights are plugged into an outlet on the top shelf inside a cabinet, then direct wired into a switch along with my under-cabinet lighting. For that reason, I first tested the strip with it laid out across the kitchen floor -- no point in going thru these gyrations if some part is not working. The strip cannot plug into an outlet INSIDE a cabinet -- the unit has a very large transformer as part of the power end. Thus I had to add a short extension cord, up thru the hole in my cabinet, then wedging both the extension and the light strip end above the cabinets. As my pictures show, that's a small space! At any rate, I succeeded and am quite happy with the new lighting.

I was looking for a back-light for my large screen LED television. I selected the Armacost because the kit came with everything I needed. The overall quality of the Armacost is great. It is a genuine product of Armacost with 3M adhesive tape. I also like the fact that this strip has the RGB as well as the white (it states 5000k but I believe it is lower). The LED ribbon is trim-able at the designation on the strip. My install went perfect. With the included power supply and the remote I was finished with this project without anything else to buy. The lights are awesome and love the ability to change the colors and even dim all from the included remote. A fantastic set!!

Nice LED ribbon lights that produce about as much light as a 150w incandescent bulb. Easy to install, just press and stick. Can be cut to size with scissors. Every 10 inches is a spot that can be cut but every other spot requires soldering so every 20 inches is a plain copper section. Comes with 2 short wired connectors for bridging gaps and making turns. The connectors worked fine. If you want to get longer connectors make sure to get 5 pin ones. Can only control with the included remote. There are pairs of LEDs in the strip, one white and one colored. The colored ones can be cycled through 12 different colors. You can choose to have just the white LEDs, just the colored or both at the same time. Can be dimmed with the remote or an LED compatible dimmer. Provides nice accent lighting. If you're planning to use this as under cabinet lighting be aware that bare LEDs like this produce very harsh light. Every bit of dirt will show. Which you may think is a good thing because you'll won't miss a spot when cleaning.

I will be installing these lights in my out door kitchen. This will dress things up very nice. These lights are bright and can be made a soft light. The colors are bright. Comes with a remote that lets you configure just the lighting you want. This light strip comes on a flexible strip that can be mounted almost anywhere( but in direct sunlight) Cut the strip down or add to it. This works as it should.

I am absolutely delighted with this strip light. I have mine near ceiling height on my lanai. There are so many options with the lighting----I can choose just white light , or one of six colored lights (orange, green, blue, red/pink, yellow or aqua). I can even choose to have all the colors run and change the speed as to how fast they change color. All the colors including white can be brightened or dimmed. The ribbonflex was very easy to install and the sticky back does an excellent job or adhereing the ribbonflex to the surface. The fact that the ribbon can be cut to fit is incredible. I highly recommend this product for anyone wanting to create some ambiance or even brighter lighting. Although mine is placed outside, it is well protected under roof and away from any rain, otherwise, this product is not intended for outdoor use.

Installed the led strip lighting as uplighting in the peak of the angled ceiling. Easy to install and worked well. Six months later the unit is no longer displaying the blue light & any colors that use blue. Product states two year warranty. Tried calling & message says to send email. I'll give that a try and will update my review if manufacturer takes care of things accordingly under the warranty. My undercabinet led tape lighting in my kitchen is 7 years old and still going strong.

This was even better than we expected. Definitely buying again.

Absolutely love this system. Easy to install (follow the directions to the letter!) and sit back & enjoy. Used as under counter lighting in kitchen to replace the puck lighting that finally died & couldn't be more pleased!

ZERO. I got the kitchen almost completely wired, I needed one more coupler to finish the job. I contacted Armacost to buy a coupler and they refused to sell me one. Now I can't finish the job. I will use a different brand next time.

This tape lighting failed less than 1 year of purchase. It was installed in our foyer and used infrequently. Electrician said he’s never seen one fail so quickly.

The recommended connectors didnt work with no connectors available. The tape backing was so thin it would melt or tear when soldering. Waste of money.

the remote is not working and the lights are stuck in bright white instead of throwing it away i purchased a $5 plug switch to turn it off and on there is a reason philiphs brand costs more you get what you pay for
