Between the wire coming out of the power supply and the start of the tape light is the remote control receiver. it is roughly a 1/2" wide x 2" long. If all three sections are wired to the output side of the receiver and polarity is correct, the control should properly manage all sections. You can solder additional connections or you can purchase additional connectors; search 567000, 569001 or 560010 for white. Color versions can be wired similarly but pay extra care to polarity; this can be a challenge because there are five wires instead of two.

Thanks for your interest in Armacost Lighting RibbonFlex home. No; the power supply this kit comes with is max'd out at 16'. Extending it would cause voltage drop and poor performance. If you want an additional 16', the best thing to do is utilize a second kit. One remote can be paired with two kits to control them both.

Thanks for your interest in Armacost Lighting RibbonFlex home. This kit can be turned on and off only using a wall switch but not dimmed. A dimming wall switch will create performance issues. Generally, the lighting will retain the last setting as power is turned on and off at the switch.

Two, and they're only about 3" long

You can split off each section after the receiver using 18AWG wire without needing a second power supply. If you were to use a second power supply, the remote will not work to control it because there would only be one receiver associated with the original power supply. Alternatively, given that the power supply you asked about is close in price to the kit, it may be better to buy a second kit to plug in where you wish to use it. The instructions included with the kit discuss how to pair one remote with two kits, so a single remote can control both kits.

The dim-to-warm kit white color temperature warms as it dims; from 3000K to 1800K mimicking an incandescent bulb.While the warm white kit stays at 3000K as it dims. The dim-to-warm kit has a power supply that can be hard wired to romex or plugged in; the warm white kit can only be plugged in. Two separate kits can be controlled from the same remote, but they must be paired with that remote.
