I'm planning to do a checkerboard pattern with black tiles and bought samples for three of the four white versions Armstrong offers here so I could see which one I like best. The "carnival white" has blue, pinkish red and green flecks with some stray tan ones. The "white out" version is white and pale grey, as expected. The "harlequin white" has green, gold, and charcoal grey flecks. Adding close-up pics in the case that it helps others. Quality is great, looking forward to this project.

Armstrong had the perfect colors to replace the ugly ceramic tile in my MCM 1960’s kitchen. Along with Carnival White I used Lunar Blue, Little Green Apple and Bubblegum. I couldn’t be happier with my new kitchen floor....it makes me happy every time I walk in it. The tile itself is easy to install and cut, but takes time depending on the pattern design, how many colors you choose and of course the many hours of prep work. I still have to finish part of floor, so the pictures I’ve posted are pre-wax.

Color from online is not grey and yellow, it's blue/green and yellow. Didn't install because color is wrong.

Several tiles had chipped corner. We ordered 3 boxes and some tiles were damaged in each box.

Tiles were great. Finding the products to finish them not so easy

I love this flooring for my retro MCM kitchen. Each tile is thick & heavy so I imagine that it is durable- especially since this is what is used in schools & offices. It really looks nice in my kitchen. I had it sealed within a week of installation. One more thing- it is cost effective too!

Tiles are very fragile, so: must be held carefully, and cannot be pushed/butted up to the next one in normal fashion or will crack the previous row (professionally installed).

I love the tile it Is very old school. My problem was asking a Home Depot associate which trowel to use apply the glue. The one he recommended was notched for carpet and made the gluing of the tile very messy and difficult. A few years ago your associates were from the trades and very knowledgeable now they don’t really know about what they are selling.

The perfect compliment to another tile purchased for laying a checkerboard pattern in my craft room. Love it! Tile are easy to lay and easy to cut using a box cutter.

Used to replace some old 9x9 tiles that were destroyed by plumbing repairs. Not an exact match, but good enough for a basement laundry room (better than I had originally expected to find). Thickness matched exactly. Tiles could be trimmed as needed to fill in space using a tile cutter rented from Home Depot.

We've used this product in a couple of places, including our personal retro style kitchen. The color range is great --there are like 99 other colors available. Cost per square foot can't be beat. Designing the layouts is just fun. Installation is not an amateur job-- more difficult than vinyl tiles. More sustainable than vinyl though. This product results in a very cold floor. It is basically stone dust in matrix, so as cold as stone would be. Buying from Home Depot eliminated the shipping charge a flooring distributor wanted so that was good. But the factory proved to be a weak link in the supply chain and a snafu on their part took weeks to be corrected and delayed the project.
