I do not ussually leave a review. However, with this product, I will make an exception. If you have a concrete/block wall do NOT order this product. It works great for a stick-frame building. However, the fastener is not designed for use in Concrete. The drive portion of the fastener is far too soft. It strips out The concept is ingenious. However, it does not work in concrete/block installations Maybe TapCon can come up with something that actually works. If it were possible to give zero stars I would.

Just finished installing these on a few of the windows. They are actually very easy to install and should make securing the windows with the Astrogard Window Fabric a breeze. I spray painted them Almond to match the trim color to minimize the fasteners.

The fasteners work well. Made our own hurricane shutters with your 1/2 in plywood. Saved alot doing it ourselves.

These work great and easy to install with a 18 Volt impact driver, a 7/64 cement drill bit, and a 3/16 nut driver, 1/4 inch drill bit and a wing nut driver is also good to have. Drill the holes in the panels with the 1/4 drill bit then hold the panel over the window and mark the holes on the house. Drill the concrete holes with the 7/64 bit then use the impact gun and nut driver to install the bolts. Put the panel up and install the wing nuts, don't over tighten then. Note: A 3/16 concrete bit is to small and you will strip the nut driver, a 1/4 is too big and they won't tighten properly, the 7/64 is perfect. All in all ,it is pretty simple if you take your time and pay attention to detail.

These are great fasteners used for attaching polycarbonate sheet over window.

The heads strip easy even with pre drilling.

I liked the fasteners they were easy to install I used a spacer and a 1/4-20 nut and a 7/16 driver in my cordless drill after drilling a small hole in the wall first. I used them on a wood frame building

These do the trick, they are even more heavy duty than I expected. No issues installing them.
