Satin black rattle can
I baught 5 different brands / types including behr ofnsatin black to paint areas of my boat that will be visible ( hardness/ coverage / leveling out . The price was perfect for what 2 cans of krylon does this took 5-6 . The issue is coverage and dry hardness . ( BUT BEHR LEVELED OUT THE BEST ) it was hard in few days It takes about 3-4 days to cure hard but did not adhere til hard. I painted my whole boat in my booth even the areas that the wrap is under to be safe . It needs a few days to gas off.
With Several coats for proper coverage. It will dry and still see uncovered areas even if it's been done 3 times. This product was excellent potential if behr fits these issues

Garbage
Every can I bought got clogged. Wasted 3 cans and over $20 just to do a simple project. Waste of money recommend the other brands over this.

Great color. Hopefully 3rd time's the charm.
I'm using this for a guitar project.
The first coat looked amazing.
The color is perfect.
It's easy to apply and gave me a beautiful, smooth finish with no drips or runs.
I thought I was home free until the second coat, which looked good initially, started to get what looked like a drip running down the back.
I'm not sure what caused it, but I sanded it down and cleaned it up, then applied another coat.
It did the same thing in the same place.
It's been drying about a week and a half now, and I'm about to try sanding it out and cleaning it again to see if I can get it to work out better this time.
I'm assuming something dropped onto the surface while it was hanging to dry that I wasn't able to remove properly before the second coat, so I'll try again and hope for the best.

So streaky and inconsistent
I wanted to love this paint but it was disappointing. Maybe it's just the white color but it was so streaky I couldn't even it out despite using 3 full cans. It also runs even with a light coating. I have to cover the whole project with latex paint now which is what I was trying to avoid in the first place.

For the best coverage and to avoid runs, I recommend holding the can upright about 8-12 inches from the surface and spraying light even coats from side to side. Apply your next coat within 1 hour of the last coat or after 24 hours. Not for anything other than crafts and small projects
Chalk paint, even name brand, tends to get water spots easily. It’s great for crafts and small projects but I won’t use it again on interior furniture.

Great coverage without adding proper
Did not know behr made spray paint before this. I did one coat on an old light fixture, and it looks so high end, the matte black is sharp. Low fumes and dries quick.

True Matte Black finish
Well I'm a BEHR guy, since HD offered BEHR products in the mid 1980's locally.
Prep work is always very important in having a professional look to your painting surface.
Safety First, mask, goggles and glasses, protective clothing, etc.
The BEHR PREMIUM 12 oz. Black Matte Interior/Exterior Spray Paint and Primer in One
is awesome with a true Matte Black finish.
I also changed the grout color from 1957 white to 2022 Grout Renew #60 Charcoal. I know, I still have a little clean up to do.

Smooth spray paint
I like that this Behr spray paint has both paint and primer. The spray tip is wide and more comfortable than most, and the spray is smooth, fine, and consistent. 2-3 coats are recommended, and you can get a good light coat to do that. It is also recommended that you keep the can upright while spraying, and as you can see, I sprayed down part of the time, and the spray worked fine. The only drips I got was when I sprayed heavily on some rough ends to get full coverage. I only waited a few minutes between the first and second coats, then about 30 minutes before the last coat. I am pleased with the coverage and the ease of using this spray.

Looks Just Like The Lid!
We received a metal tray that looks like galvanized steel with a meat & cheese gift during the holidays. Not really our style, but it's a decent tray. We grabbed this color to go with our furnishings. It's a pretty grayed-out blue - but not baby blue in the slightest. The paint states it works on metal and I decided to test that out. Usually, I prime with BIM before painting something like this but wanted to see how well this paint works without it. Surprisingly well! I did 2 thin coats within an hour of each other and had the coverage I was looking for. No tacky feeling after 30 minutes, so it dries nicely. Best of all, the color is spot on with the color on the cap. So far, very impressed with this paint!

Disappointed
Purchased 3 cans of white satin to refinish a wooden storm door that had been previously painted with rustoleum white satin. Spent hours prepping in order to get a perfect job. Layed down two coats. Result was perfect except that instead of a nice satin sheen I got a perfectly Flat finish. Maybe Behr should stick to liquid paints.

Disappointing
What a waste. I should have trusted the poor reviews. I have spray painted many furniture pieces, and this is literally the worst paint i have ever used. My two well-prepped (cleaned, sanded, and primed) bar stools are ruined. The paint did not adhere to the primer. The formulation is extremely runny and does not have the “stick” of other paints. Very low quality. I will be returning. Professional Krylon is the way to go for clean, full-coverage.

Great color.
I got this spray can for my wife. She had a small chest she wanted to paint in a shabby sheek / farmhouse look. There was enough paint in the can to do the whole chest. Before she was done spraying her finger did get tied so she then used a spray handle. Overall we really liked the look this paint gave. The spray pattern from the nozzle was a good pattern allowing a nice even coat to be applied.
