BEHR MARQUEE CEILING PAINT GOODBYE MILDEW
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Small bathroom in our home had a reoccurring mildew issue due to kids taking long hot showers because tgey don't pay for heating oil or water! I digress... Repainted bathroom using BEHR Marquee ceiling paint and the walks with their mildew resistance paint. Very Hapoy with results.

Did what needed to be done..and more!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a dull dingy off white grayish ceiling that I just “dealt” with and after seeing a video from a home improvement influencer where he was refreshing his home on the cheap and he used Behr Marquee Ceiling Paint and it really gave his living room new life and after I did the same the results were miraculous smooth easy stain covering and awe inducing.

Doesn’t match
Marquee is too think. You have work fast before it starts to skim, less than 30 minutes. Project was heated inside updating original color in modern 30 year old home.
Also, does lay well. Requires sand and second coat. See pics.

If that is not the case, we recommend stirring the product for around 5 minutes to get it to the right texture. Excellent coverage!

WOW Truly One Coat

Only Behr for me
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Use to love to paint when I was younger but at 75 I only wanted to have to do one coat. Behr made that happen. Also painted walls with Behr premium.and it looks great! So many colors to choose from.

Terrible and frustrating
I have used several different types of ceiling paint and had high hopes for this one based upon the cost. Big mistake. After three coats I am still seeing roller marks/ roller paths and it is impossible to get this to look consistent on the surface. It's almost like it has a satin finish. For $50 a gallon somebody should come out and repaint my ceiling for me. I will be going with another brand to correct the issue. I would love to get a refund but unfortunately that's not an option.

The paint is the right consistency to use with a brush or roller. It goes on easy and covers with one coat. Highly recommenced though it might cost more since the other paints will require two coats.

Excellent paint with creamy viscosity and fantastic coverage over bare drywall on the first coat. Second coat produced a beautiful surface and color. Highly recommend this ceiling paint.

WORST PAINT EVER!
I am repeating another customer’s review as it exactly describes my experience with the Behr ‘flat’ ceiling paint… Blotchy, uneven, roller marks. It has a sheen that shows every imperfection. I had painted many ceilings and the matte finish usually makes it the easiest surface to do. Not this, I did 2 coats and the second was just as bad! I used the best rollers too. Now I have to buy another brand and redo the whole thing. What a waste of time and money. And to think I payed more for “marquee”.

Don’t Buy, BAD ODOR - Behr Marquee OneCoat Ceiling
Noxious acrid odor after painting room contrary to claim. Lumps in paint after stirring up from bottom. Patches of old paint color showing thru so not one-coat coverage as claimed. Never experienced these issues at this price point.

Our Marquee paint is a water-based coating, so any residual odor should subside once the coating dries. To help air out any lingering smell, we recommend increasing the ventilation in this room. Fans can also be used in the doorways and windows facing outward. This paint should have a smooth, creamy consistency after stirring for 3-5 minutes, and when tinted to a one-coat color and applied over a previously painted surface, it is designed to cover in one coat. Great coverage
