Hi Cesar, thank you for your review. I'm sorry to hear about your experience after using the 1-Part Epoxy Floor Paint. This is designed to resist rain after 24 hours of drying, so I can understand your disappointment. If the coating is still intact, allow it to dry for at least one week. After, check the coating to see if it dries evenly. If the coating shows signs of being affected by the rain, scuff sand the surface, clean and etch any bare concrete spots as needed, let dry, and re-coat. Customer satisfaction is important to us, and we appreciate your feedback. Please reach out to us directly if you need further assistance. Our customer care team is happy to help you! - Randy Behr

    Terrible
Do not buy this product absolute waste of your money! I bought 2 gallons of this and within 24 hours of completing this project it was chipping without anything being put into the garage. Nothing was driven or moved against the floor and it chipped this bad! We grinded the floor and we cleaned the floor like we were suppose to prior and still it turned out like this! Terrible! Waste of your time to apply it and your money! Can’t believe what they charge per gallon for results like that

Hi Brit, thank you for the review. I’m sorry to hear that our 1-Part Epoxy Concrete & Garage Floor Paint started chipping and coming up. This is not typical, and I can understand your disappointment. To fix this, I recommend removing the loose coating by scraping or sanding, then etching the bare concrete using a product such as muriatic acid. After the floor is etched, cleaned, and dry, and the surface/air temperature is between 50-90F, apply one coat of 1-Part Epoxy as a primer coat, followed by a second coat for best results. Optionally, our Concrete Bonding Primer can be used to help increase adhesion. Customer satisfaction is important to us, and we appreciate your feedback. Please reach out to us directly if you need further assistance. Our customer care team is happy to help you! - Randy Behr

This epoxy paint is low grade
Don't buy. We followed all the instructions, etched the surface, scrubbed and dried prior to application. It peels and lifts. I pulled up a piece of painters tape that dropped on the floor and it took the paint off. Move something it scratch off. It continues! We went to the home Depot store for a refund it has a limited warranty one year. They wouldn't take it back. Behr doesn't allow them to give refunds. We have to call Behr DIRECTLY to get a refund. Bad product, service and inconvenient!

Hi Leaslie, thank you for your review. I'm so sorry to hear about your poor experience with our Concrete & Garage 1-Part Epoxy. I want to assure you that your satisfaction is very important to us, and we want to do our best to help turn this around. To fix the peeling, I recommend removing any loose coating and then etching the bare concrete. Then, prime the bare spots with our Concrete & Masonry Bonding Primer (No.880) to enhance the adhesion before touching up the Epoxy and recoating the surface if needed. We always encourage our customers to reach out to us directly for one-on-one service and to further help with their projects. If you're willing to work with us directly, please contact our Customer Care team so we can get more info about your project and further assist you. We hope to hear from you soon! -Lina Behr

All chipping up just like others here!
As you all know this is a crazy expensive Epoxy paint which supposedly has primer within it I used it for my shop floor which is almost 3,000 ft and after only a few days especially near the door openings where more moisture is present here in Western New York the paint is all chipping and bubbling up after all the money spent I am literally sick because I just don't have any more funds to pour into the floor so I am buying some floor rugs to throw down to cover up this crappy paint until I can afford the totally remove and replace it I'm hoping that dry lock will work better yes like the other reviews you really really should stop selling this paint after spending over $500 on two of the large buckets I totally

Behr concrete paint for garage floor
Floor was etched with Muriatic acid, cleaned and paint applied 3 days after etching. We used flakes bought at Home Depot for more color to slate gray. Floor was left to dry for 5 days and than we applied the Rust-Oleum clear for 1 part epoxy and let dry for additional 3 days. First night drove car in garage pulled paint off at wheels( total time off floor3 weeks). We now have places peeling everywhere. This was unpainted garage floor and was not new concrete. Now we have a mess. Talked to Behr and sending new paint to redo

                        Absolutely DO NOT BUY!!!!
This is an updated review to my first one below. It has been a month or so and the “epoxy” is already peeling off/getting picked up by the tires. This should NOT be advertised for driveway. The concrete is as porous and rough as it can be, yet this “epoxy” is flaking. $200+ straight to the trash. Go with something better as this doesn’t have “an improved” adhesion. Not user error as The Rustoleum’s 2-part epoxy I applied in garage is still looking like new. I want my money back!!!

                          Mixed feelings about this product
For driveway with no oil stains or the like. Prep included pressure washing as the concrete slab had grooves and felt like sandpaper to the touch, no sealer on it. Product applied easily but 5-gallon only covered one coat of 700sqft so the coverage numbers are not accurate. Waited 8 days to drive car on it and left tire marks. Tried to wash off with garden hose and some of the paint peeled off in sections. Also got random pin holes after curing. Not happy having to buy more of this to fix.

                            Peels right off
We had professionals paint our cement floor and less than a week after the paint is peeling right off with every wash. So disappointing because we spent a lot of money on product and labor to make it look worse than it originally was.

                              The worst epoxy
I have used many epoxies to finish concrete floors and this is the first one I've ever seen have pretty much no adhesion to the surface at all. Everything was properly prepared in the way explained on the can. As soon as curing was done and people were allowed to walk on these floors they were torn all to heck within a day. I am including some pictures after doing a light wash to remove the loose epoxy so that we could use a different product. Basically all this product came up.

                                POOR QUALITY, VERY DISAPPOINTED
Followed directions from store paint department employee, cleaned floor with degreaser, treated with muriatic acid, pressure washed, rinsed a couple more times again with hose, allow that to dry for two days. Applied two coats of this product and allowed to dry for three weeks before putting the car or anything else back on. First time putting the car in the garage it left black tire tread impressions immediately on the paint. Third time I put the car in the garage it peeled the paint up underneath the tires. Also, I noticed whenever I set anything on the floor that has any weight to do it when I pick it up the paint comes up with it. I applied this over a previously painted floor that was approximately 24 years old, the Home Depot paint department employee had me do a test with denatured alcohol And assured me this was the right product that would adhere to the existing paint. Very disappointing, now what do I do???

This Product Does Not Work !!
A professional applied this product Oct. '22. He said wouldn't guarantee its adhesion due to extreme temperature fluctuations in zip 48095. Since we'd had his work done previously in our garage and lower level we trusted him, and Behr. It was beautiful in the beginning. But in November with the cold weather approaching, the coating started peeling off, bubbling off, and blowing all around our property. In fact, I could flip it off with a thin piece of cardboard. Now it's going to cost us over $2k to have the remainder sanded off and removed. PLUS, hire another company to come and vacuum up all the smaller pieces that below around on the grass and down the road. Please avoid this product !!

If you even consider in your dreams of using it in your garage! DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT IT. It's just a terrible product. After 1 month, it will peel off. ( and note for BEHR reps responding to those reviews - please save your breath, your product it's worthless C^R^A^P period.) Any water after driving in from the rain - it will peel off, just rolling the car - it will peel off, wash the floor with mild soap - it will peel off. STAY AWAY worst product I've purchased in 10 years!!

Once clean and dry, prime the areas with our Concrete & Masonry Bonding Primer to enhance the adhesion before touching up the spots and recoating the surface if needed for uniformity. Customer satisfaction is important to us, and we appreciate your feedback. Please reach out to us directly if you need further assistance; our customer care team is happy to help you! -Lina Behr

Exact match to help finish the job. Took a five gallon and half gallon to complete garage, back & front patio.

Pressure washed floor, let dry, muriatic acid and pressure washed twice more times just to be safe. Let dry in 70 degree weather. Applied as per instructions, 2 weeks later rolled my motorcycle into floor with COLD tires. Next day both tires lifted coating. 3 months later decided to park car, COLD tires. All 4 tires lifted coating ! Waste of money !!! Expect some deflection of a Home Depot response to this on how I did it wrong as per package and Home Depot’s “paint manager”.

                                            Super disappointed
I bought this BEHR epoxy garage coating this summer and followed all directions to a T! We never drove/walked on it for 30 days just to be safe. The first time it rained and the garage door was opened, it left little bubbles where the water had dripped down. I dried them carefully but things just continued to go downhill from there. We got a large snowstorm in November and the floor just started to bubble and peel everywhere. It is so embarrassing as we have had family over through the holidays and everyone walking on our disgusting ruined floor. I have read the responses to others having the same issues and it seems there is no responsibility on the part of Behr...they just want you to "redo" it. I spent so much time and money on this project to have this less than mediocre paint fail.

But the first rain my garage saw rain in Los Angeles it started to bubble up. It is less than two months old and now my garage looks worse than before I spend money and time applying this product. I

Hi Jwla, thank you for your review. I’m sorry to hear that the coating bubbled so easily. This is not how we expect our products to perform, and I understand your disappointment. I recommend removing the loose coating, cleaning and etching the bare concrete until it feels like 150-grit sandpaper, and touching up or recoating as needed. This garage paint is an excellent choice for DIYers. Easy to apply and has a nice finish. I did two coats after etching concrete on my garage floors. After two coats I did a clear coat to seal and came out fantastic.

Tire mark is left even after 10 days
I painted my parking floor, following complete instructions of this product. I didn’t park the car for almost 10 days (even though the instructions say 7 days), but tire marks are being left and some part are peeled. It’s been a month and marks are being left. Now I have to do all the work again with a better product. Surprisingly the Home Depot refused the return saying that more than half of the product is used. I mean how could you know if a product is good unless you use it?

Almost as good a latex house paint!
Read the reviews and assumed the poor ratings were from improperly prepped floors- nope! Washed several times, acid etched twice and rinsed. Paint came off where tire missed cardboard a full month after painting. I honestly think latex house paint would stick better! Spend the money and get the two part epoxy if you are going to spend hours prepping to paint. Dissatisfied with Behr- they are better than this!

Hi Karmike, thanks for your review. I'm sorry to hear about the peeling on your floor! To fix the peeling areas, I recommend scraping/sanding to remove the loose paint. Then you can clean the surface and spot etch the bare concrete (until it feels like 150-grit sandpaper). Once clean and dry, spot prime with our Concrete Bonding Primer before touching up with 1-Part Epoxy. Customer satisfaction is very important to us, so feel free to reach out to our Customer Care team directly for further assistance. They are always happy to help.
