Using this for trim really makes the newly painted rooms pop. We’ve painted ceilings and walls before but skipped the trim. Now my house looks fantastic.

Great product and color
This product was low odour as mentioned in the description and was easy to slide on. Used it on kids bedroom. Did mix it with white to lighten the color.

Easy to work with. Dries pretty fast. Low smell
Behr Ultra is easy to work with, dries decently fast and has a low odor. I found the secret is to apply thin coats. I do two coats. It comes out much better and only takes up a tiny bit more time. I do all my cut ins first (by the ceiling), then roll the paint on thinly. I don't really care about covering every single millimeter of wall on my first coat since I go pretty thin.
By the time I'm done rolling all 4 walls of the room (about 1 hour), the first coat is already dried (by touch)!! I then put on a second coat. Much thinner than the first coat and this coat covers everything that I may have missed during the first coat. The 2nd coat goes on much quicker and thinner and I'm done!

So it looks off-white after two dry coats, not close to the photo or description. Seems to be missing almost all the sand color.
I like Behr paints very much I just don't think this was mixed correctly.

Colors online may vary from the color you ultimately paint on your project, so it's best to check out the paper swatch or purchase an 8 oz. sample for the most accurate representation of the color. I also recommend checking to see if the color was mixed correctly by comparing the paper swatch for Cancun Sand 310E-1 to the dried paint dab on the lid of your paint can. If they match, the color is correct, and we recommend recoating with a new color. If they don't match up, the color may have been mixed incorrectly, and we recommend recoating with the right color. This color was perfect for my little girl's room. It was so bright and cherry and she loves it. The paint went on perfectly and covered up the mint green color that we used to have. I have never ordered paint online and had it delivered but we had a good experience with it.

did not block and cover as expected
I recommend using a primer first and buying the less expensive paint. Unless you are painting over a lite colored wall, you will need to do 2 coats. Might as well get it done right.
Image below shows original color, 1 coat and 2nd coat. Seems a coat of primer first blocks more effectively.

Worst paint ever
I have used many brands of paint and this is the worst I have ever used. First I spent over 160.00 for 5 gallons of paint. I have finished 2 rooms. Both rooms had to have 2 coats and in spots 3 to fully cover wall. When I finished and went back to remove painter's tape from trim, the paint peeled off the wall. Do not waste your money on this, cheaper paint works better. I can't return this paint because it is in a 5 gallon bucket so either have to throw away or try to make do. Still have 2 more rooms. Will not buy again. I was told behr was a good product. Had used this brand to stain deck last year and it coming off now too. Never again

Hi Teresa, thank you for your review. I'm sorry to hear that the tape peeled off the paint. This is not typical, and I understand your frustration. When removing the tape, we recommend scoring and pulling the tape at a 45-degree angle so that it does not adhere to the coating or allow the paint to seep under the tape. I bought 4 gallons of paint for the baseboards, trim, and ceilings in my house. So far, I've done 3 rooms and a hallway and I still have a gallon and a half left. It's definitely brightening up the place. There's hardly any scent at all, it dries quickly, and my second coats are really just a quick touch up. I'm happy with my purchase.

I used Twig basket color on lower half of wall...
I used Twig basket color on lower half of wall with Back to Nature color on top. I accented the room (archway) with havana coffee. It totally transformed my room. Behr paint all the way. Love how easy it is to clean up & with very little odor. Easy to work with & reliable paint.

One and done! One coat was all it took for...
One and done! One coat was all it took for my painting project, and this was tested on both primered walls as well as just painting over existing paint. It actually went on easier over the existing paint than the primered wall, probably because the Behr already had primer in it. The color payoff is amazing, I couldn't be any more satisfied with how my project came together. This is now my go-to paint!

Box Office is a beautiful color. It goes so well with my amethyst Love Sac Sectional. At first glance, the walls look gray but is a shade of purple depending on the light. The Eggshell Enamel paint needs no primer and only one coat and is very easy to apply. Love my new room!

Better quality paint than I expected. Goes on well. Graphic Charcoal is a great deep color, but keep in mind you will probably need more than 2 coats with a color this dark. Used it as an accent wall color behind my tv. Makes our wood and gold shelves pop and somewhat helps the tv to blend into the background.

Product is thick and smooth. I started with white wall and had to do 2 coats but that is normal. The color shifts from like a nice medium purple to an almost purple mauve depending on the lighting. I wanted to have color in our bedroom but not have it be childish and I can say that I'm super pleased with it.

Light grey with purple undertones
We bought this to paint our new house and bring some dimension to the all white walls. We bought a sample and tried it in different lighting and it looked like a nice light grey so we purchased 5 gallons of the Behr Ultra in a Matte finish. The paint applies pretty evenly, but definitely needs two coats as it can be spotty in certain places, even though we were only painting over a matte, white paint. Dry time was very fast and we were able to do a second coat in the same day. It is definitely a light grey color, but has purple undertones, so depending on the lighting it looks like a very light purple. We will be replacing the warm lightbulbs to natural/white lighting so it enhances the grey instead of the purple. Overall we're happy with the product and color!
