Chain came off
Used for about 10 minutes and the chain came off. Could NOT get it back on. Had to drive 20 miles to return. I DO NOT recommend this saw!

This was a good chainsaw, it got the project done that I bought it for. It seemed to get dull towards the end, so the chain might need to get sharpened or replaced next time. Otherwise it was a good buy

Needed this for years. I've been struggling maintaining the pull start chainsaws. Now I just love this! Had it for more than a month, working it almost daily! It is reliable. I had no delivery issues. Can't say a word for or against customer service, cause I haven't needed anything. Love this!

Reliable
This BD chainsaw came fully assembled, all I had to do was fill the oil tank and it was ready to go. I cut up a complete small tree and other than sharpening the saw blade a couple of times, and refilling oil tank I did not even have to adjust the chain one time. It just worked flawlessly. Tons of power. Highly recomend, especially for the price.

This small but powerful electric chain saw is perfect for cutting down shrubs and small branches perfect for small yard usage. It is light weight and easy to handle for senior citizens. Home Depot always has a great selection of saws to choose from and very helpful informative employees.

Where’s the chain?
O bought this on the exchange site needed one desperately arrive just fine but no chain to be found anywhere very disappointed first issue I’ve ever had work a black and decker product

cleaning was a chore. works well on the small branches I had to cut...2-3 inches in diameter.

Chain constantly pops and has to be manually reinstalled on the saw. BTW, it is called a chainsaw so by definition it is assumed the chain is an integral part of the saw and required for the proper operation of the "chainsaw"

works, but....
Used it the first time today, seems like a good light weight unit, for the pruning and yard maintenance I need to do.
BUT, mid-way through it started leaking bar oil and is now sitting in a puddle of it.
Checked to see if something was stuck, nope.
So, like many less expensive "homeowner" quality products. It's not without it it's flaws.

The chainsaw works great for the first couple of hours. The chain comes loose, and the process of adjusting is impossible. The instructions given are very little. More instructions for tightening the chain is needed.
