It looks as though it will do the job. Fortunately, I haven't had occasion to use it yet. I gave it 4 stars based upon visually inspecting it. If I had used it and it performed as anticipated, I'd give it 5 stars.

Very light weight. Reaches really far up in trees. I have had other pole saws battery and corded. This is by far the best one I have owned.

Worked as advertised. I had to cut a lot of tree branches. Some 5-8" in diameter. Can get a little heavy after reaching above head for a while.

When the extension rods are all attached it feels loose and wobbles.

I was impressed with the lightweight and reach. The chain is good quality steel, and torque is enough to meet my needs for cutting 1 - 4 inch limbs. Light pruning and trim work. The battery lasts about 20 minutes of constant use, but with spares, it's fine. Just grab another. I would recommend for light home use only.

Quit working after two hours so I returned it

Used the pole saw about 5 times and it stopped working! Needless to say we were disappointed!

Absolutely amazing polesaw tool

The B&D cordless pole saw does the job. It takes a while to get used to two lengths only. It seems fairly lightweight compared to others. I like the idea of an angled saw head this one doesn't have.

Does a decent job trimming sea grapes overall good product for price

Apparently the replacement parts for this are discontinued. An uncommon screw fell out of this during the third use. It got lost in the mud. So when I identified the part/screw and went to order a replacement, I learned that B&D had discontinued it. (Part# 624334-00). I can't even find an equivalent screw for it. The screw was(one of two) what held the chain onto the head. So now this pole saw is useless.

The problem is, even though HD sells it, it has been discontinued by B&D for so long that parts are no longer available. Purchase this knowing that if anything goes wrong, you're stuck.

Love this tool! I'm 76 yrs. old and I could trim so many limbs with it. It's not too heavy and I didn't need the extension to do the jobs I needed to do. Probably has paid for itself already instead of hiring someone to do the job.

A little top heavy, most likely I will not use the extension pole. Easy to put together and gets the job done.

Pole saw is great, easy to use. Bought online and found that the battery had to be ordered separately…which I did. when saw arrived, discovered that there was no charger included . That information was not included in the online information….so had to figure out what charger was required & then ordered it. Online description of the saw needs to specifically say that battery & charger not included….delayed my project waiting for charger…..other than that, saw is great…love the idea of no messy gas or cord to deal with.

I have not had a chance to use it yet but will try it out when the demand is there.

Great pole saw. Does exactly what it says it will do. I do not know why people complain of chain falling off. Just follow instructions and tighten chain as needed. It will never fall off it is used correctly. It surprisingly will cut through some pretty big branches with a fully charged battery.

The Black and Decker polesaw is great for trimming limbs in the yard. It was reasonably priced, lightweight and easy to use.we already had batteries and charger from our hedge trimmer.

Great saw worked right out of the box. Have used it a differing heights and works great.

Really like this pole saw. It appears well made and fits together easily. Has enough power to get the job done. It does require manual oiling of the chain but that's easily done. I'm amazed at how far up it reaches. You will not be disappointed with this pole saw.
