Just set up my Grandkids love it my wife was swinging on it also. Very easy to set up and put together. We dug hole and put the legs in cement to help secure it.

Very easy instructions. I am a 5’6 125lb woman and put it together myself and anchored it. I only needed help standing it up. It took me 3.5 hours to do everything (1 hr of that was anchoring it). It is very sturdy!!

We got this swingset for our girls for Christmas and couldn’t wait for spring to set it up! It was relatively simple to put together- I was able to do most of it inside. We’ve spent hours swinging on it and it’s not even warm out yet. It’s very sturdy and tall so the kids can swing higher than the average backyard swingset. I’m very happy we went with this product!

Picked up the Big Brutus as a Christmas gift to my kids. As a child there was nothing I enjoyed more than a large swing set. The bigger arch and height adds so much more enjoyment. I’m a reasonably handy average size man and it took a couple hours to assemble. You will certainly need a second set of hands when it comes to standing this unit up and moving it to its end location. Rock solid construction well covered with a durable coating I expect to last longer than my kids interest. Be prepared this thing dwarfs anything else in your yard. You want you kids to be higher than a 6ft fence swinging? This is the one! Caught it on sale and the price was completely reasonable. I couldn’t be more pleased.

We bought this swing set last season, spring/summer of 2022. So far it has held up very nicely. It was used daily from spring to sometime in November, then we took down the swings to store away during the cold winter. We live in western Illinois where the weather is horribly humid in the summer with the typical four seasons; so it's enduring rain, snow, humidity, frost, 100+ degrees in summer and into the negatives in the winter. I point that out to say I don't see any rust anywhere, which was a major complaint on a different brand I was looking at, deciding between the two. The other brand had complaints of rust after a month. The children have loved swinging everyday since we set it up. Even arguing over the swings. 🙄 More kids than available swings. I also enjoy using the swing set. I do some low ground, light swinging, nothing like a fearless child. My husband even takes a turn every once in a while. It's been a nice, well used edition to our yard.

Fast shipping, easy assembly, sturdy. I'm not quiet 5ft but a grown woman about 120lbs and I can swing as high as I want with my daughters, no wobble from our swing. They are so thankful we bought them this

Disappointing. Since the recall is well past, i did not expect to get the old version with a fix kit. I expected something new. I cant review how the assembled product is working because we aee in the middle of assembling it. Just a warning that you might receive one from 7/20 witg the recall kit added in and those parts are ugly and a slightly different green. Im sure it wont bother the kids or be noticable to others, but it bothers me that you didnt send me a new swingset

We love our new swing set. It’s big and sturdy so the kids won’t outgrow it. Took 2 men a couple hours to assemble.

The easiest outdoor thing I’ve ever put together. Did it alone except for lifting the frame up. So amazing that everything was perfect and it even came with a few extra pieces for mistakes. My daughter loves her new swing set. And it’ll last for years and years.

Just finished putting this together. Took about 2 hours with 2 men and it was very easy to do. Our grandson’s are in heaven! Would definitely recommend!

I have been looking for a long time for a swingset that is sturdy and has a higher weight limit. I have two sons with non-verbal autism and they love swinging more than anything else in the world! As they both grow it has been hard to find a replacement for their small swingset that could withstand their weight. Then I found the Big Brutus!!! It is almost 10 feet tall and so very solid!!! I LOVE that it comes with ground anchors (something that none of the other swingsets I viewed offered) and it is so easy to assemble as well! They even have an app that shows you step by step instructions, which was a Godsend. I am absolutely in love with the set, as are my sons. They are on it every single day, and with schools closed and self-isolation enforced, it has been the best purchase I have ever made. If you are looking for a solid swingset that will last you many years, look no further. You will not be disappointed!

Big Brutus is a fantastic swing set- especially for bigger kids. I have a very athletic 9-year-old grandson who has autism. He LOVES to swing and climb. This set is STURDY. He is climbing all over it and it does not move. Assembly was easy. I am a 69-year-old woman and I did all the pre-assembly myself. My son helped me tip it upright and anchor the legs. I don’t think I’ll ever need to purchase another swing set, but if I do, it will be Big Brutus. Also, thank you, Backyard Discovery, for the tools and extra hardware that come with the set. Great purchase!!

I purchased the Big Brutus swingset which has met every expectation. My grandchildren absolutely love it and I am very pleased with the sturdiness of the swingset. I would definitely recommend it for your children or grandchildren to enjoy.

A couple of pieces came dented but overall good

I looked for the right swing set for my older grandkids and this fit the bill perfectly! Super easy to assemble for this grandmother (I needed a little help to set it upright). Had it ready to play on in less than two hours. Added bonus is I can do chin ups on the side bar!! Looking forward to my next purchase!

Swinging is therapy and wonderment for our high functioning autistic daughter, so we needed a replacement as soon as possible. Grandma has a BIG BRUTUS too. She ordered one and it was here NEXT DAY!!! UNBELIEVABLE. It took dad a little longer than that to put it up because he had to go to work LOL BUT he also got it done quickly and we’ve been back in the swing ever since! The wind hasn’t messed with BRUTUS! This is the second of 3 sets Grandma has bought. All are super!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have built/or assembled at least 4 home swing sets. This is easily the best in regards to use and assembly. Super easy to assemble, and very robust and appears to have great quality. The wood ones are not high, and kids grow out of them really quick. If I could go back in time I would just get this one and put a baby swing where the big ones are at. This has great height so more than little kids can use it - I can even swing on it as an adult. Ground anchors are needed and work great - be sure to pull all four out of the tubes before you start assembling. I couldn't find them at the end and had to do some disassembly but it wasn't hard.
