The screws bite well enough but the caps can be a little annoying to seat. They sometimes needed a bit of persuasion with a gentle mallet tap. The caps match the panels and certainly give the panels a finished, streamlined look over having the usual exposed screw heads.

The only problem with them was the quantity was off by one. So 1 of my panels doesn't have the black cover on it. They look really good on the panels we put up on our deck for a little privacy.

better then I expected

The quality of the screws and drill bits are terrible. The screws broke repeatedly and both drill bits provided broke when I attempted to use them. I do not suggest you make this purchase.

Fasteners worked well and give it a finished look.

Cheap material, broke many times during the mounting with bruises on the metal. I end up using Everbilt Self Drilling Screws of the same size. Even the caps were oversized for the Barrette Screen poles.
