Customer Reviews for Blaster 5.5 oz. Industrial Graphite Dry Lubricant Spray

Every Spring I clean the deck on my riding mower and push mower and then spray them with Blaster Dry Graphite. This works well to prevent grass buildup after mowing. It saves me time and work as I don't have to clean the decks after each mowing. By reducing the grass buildup under the deck, it also reduces the potential for rust forming under the deck. Great product. Highly recommend. This year I'm also trying it on my string trimmer. Be safe!

I purchased this to lubricate a pad lock. I sprayed a little into one side of the lock, then attempted to spray another little bit into the other side. At that moment the top cap broke off and black stuff hit everything in a 6 feet radius. I thought this to be graphite powder but it is some compound that took forever to get off everything that it hit. I do have to mention that some of it ended up in the lock and it seems better.

Got this because the store was out of graphite tubes. The explanation on the side of the can implied this did the same thing, which was lubricate sticky keys. All it did was spray a layer of black gunk all over my hands and key, and the key still sticks in the lock, I almost just broke it off in the lock actually. Do not buy!!!! Oh and now the black gunk on the key is rubbing off on my hands and everything inside my purse. Buy graphite in a tube instead.

The Blaster Dry Lubricant works GREAT

The Graphite spray worked out better than grease. I used it to lubricate the ball on my trailer hitch and it worked out great. Definitely a lot less messy than grease.

The product itself works as advertised. That in and of itself, I have no problem. However, it wasn't until I got home that I noticed the application straw was missing.

Had to be applied twice before it helped.

Product purchased to lubricate gate handle mechanism but it dispensed black streams on my white vinyl fence; will NOT repurchase.

Purchased and used the same day. Noise stopped immediately. Worked as advertised. Easy to handle and use.

Worked great on door key locks

Great for lubing locks. My fence lock was sticking, and a quick spray of graphite into the lock plug on both sides loosened the lock. Use very sparingly per directions. Graphite performed beyond my expectations.

Used this product in the ignition switch of my truck to lubricate it with out damaging or getting moisture in the electric components of it. Before the ignition switch was not reading the key well and the truck would turn off, after using the product the key and ignition switch worked much better than before! I was able to drive my truck to the shop when before I couldn’t even get it to turn on. I am very happy with the product, worked like a charm.

Had a sticking lock that my key would often get stuck in. My initial thought was WD-40 but locksmiths warned against that. This product worked GREAT!!! In less than one minute my lick was once again working perfectly. I couldn’t believe it.

We used it for a motorcycle key that wasn’t working well and it fixed it completely!

Be prepared to clean up black liquid.

I had some locks that were sticky. Sprayed in the key hole, locks are fully functional.

Not what I ordered. Used it but product is messy and ugly. Hate it.

used this to lubricate the cylinder in my front door lock. Worked immediately!

Bought it because we had a lock that was sticking. When we put it on, a black oily substance got on our lock. We were able to wipe it off - gratefully, it didn't stain - but it was annoying. It didn't help as much as we wanted. May go back to using WD-40.
