Product Overview
Blaster Graphite Dry Lubricant is an excellent for extending equipment life and reducing wear. The graphite spray creates a quick drying black film that provides long-lasting lubrication. It's recommended as a general maintenance graphite lube on gaskets, transfer belts and conveyor belts. It can also be used for high temperature and low load applications, as well as locks, rollers, wheels, gears, chains, hoists and thread lubricant (anti-seize). Simply spray evenly across the application area and if you need more, do it again.

Every Spring I clean the deck on my riding mower and push mower and then spray them with Blaster Dry Graphite. This works well to prevent grass buildup after mowing. It saves me time and work as I don't have to clean the decks after each mowing. By reducing the grass buildup under the deck, it also reduces the potential for rust forming under the deck. Great product. Highly recommend. This year I'm also trying it on my string trimmer. Be safe!

Not so dry
I purchased this to lubricate a pad lock. I sprayed a little into one side of the lock, then attempted to spray another little bit into the other side. At that moment the top cap broke off and black stuff hit everything in a 6 feet radius. I thought this to be graphite powder but it is some compound that took forever to get off everything that it hit. I do have to mention that some of it ended up in the lock and it seems better.

Horrible!
Got this because the store was out of graphite tubes. The explanation on the side of the can implied this did the same thing, which was lubricate sticky keys. All it did was spray a layer of black gunk all over my hands and key, and the key still sticks in the lock, I almost just broke it off in the lock actually. Do not buy!!!! Oh and now the black gunk on the key is rubbing off on my hands and everything inside my purse. Buy graphite in a tube instead.

works well, but non propellent graphite in a squeeze tube works just as well and the mess to clean up is not as bad. be prepared to do some clean up with this spray

I have a heavy front door and the brass hinges...
I have a heavy front door and the brass hinges always squeaked when opening and closing the door. Tried WD-40 (‘cause I already had it), then teflon spray. Each worked for a few days then the squeak came back.
It’s been 2 weeks since I applied the graphite. The door is completely silent, and swings more easily than ever.
