Great for the price! My only complaint is the fan is Very Noisy on high. I had read the reviews so it wasn't a surprise... It does a very good and we are very pleased. Yes, I recommend this product. Perfect for our needs.

Replaced the Broan hood with another Broan...delivery from HomeDepot was timely and everything arrived in good condition....The quality is not as good as the original, the whole unit is mostly open underneath and the light fixture is placed somewhat awkwardly. The old unit was more enclosed and easy to clean, with removable glass cover for the light...The washable metal filter is ridiculously thin, will do absolutely nothing. I had to go to an appliance repair shop to buy a thicker filter. Apparently Broan expected this and made a bigger slot available for a thicker filter. Why they didn't supply a thicker one, is beyond me.The exhaust, depending on which setting, isn't as loud, as people complained...it is only loud on the highest setting, but there it also has a very good draw.The damper/connector (exhaust flap) is not as tight as it should be, and though there is a mesh grate on the opening outside the house, it's coarse and might attract and let in bugs, when the hood light is on at night. The control buttons are more flimsy than the original Broan...and they are all black, which made it hard to see the settings. So I made some arrows out of silver metal tape and put them on the knobs.....now the settings are more visible.All in all the unit looks nice and is satisfactory....this is just over a stainless steel drop-in stove in a utility room, used for canning and occasional cooking....so it will do.

It is very loud.

The vent hood was very easy to install. It took about 15 minutes install and hook it up.

Unobtrusive with decent lighting.

I am pleased with the range hood. The only complaint would be the light cover. The cover for the light is very flimsy. It is not attached very well, making the whole thing wobbly. I really like the variable speed fan. When the fan is on lower speed it is very quiet.

Replaced a much older Broan Range hood with the stainless steel. It fit exactly like the former and gave a much needed updated look. Very pleased with it.

I replaced old Nuton Under Cabinet hood with this one. It's a simple design, just two buttons, one for speed and the other for light, and is working great. For under 100 dollar price, there's nothing to complain about.

The original range hood is mounted to a free standing cabinet over an island. The back of the original range hood has a cover panel to hide the back side cutouts. This new stainless steel range hood did not come with the cover panel. I utilized the old one I had (white), which will do, but I was disappointed when I called Broan and they did not seem to know, or care, or even try to understand what I was talking about. They have an opportunity to improve their product if they are listening.
