My son-in-law installed the range hood for me. Didn’t take him very long. Looks nice works great.He did have to buy a new vent pipe and electrical cord because the existing hood was. 57 years oldand needed replacing.

This was basically identical to my old Broan so it fit almost the same. The mounting holes were slightly larger than the original so i had to purchase larger washers.The reason for 4 stars is that it was difficult to remove the cutout for the vent. They could improve on this. Use tin snips.

Thank you for providing feedback on the economy range hood model, 464201. When ducted to the outside, this fan is rated for a maximum of 220cfm's and 7.5 sones. This unit can also be non-ducted when access to the outside is not possible. The fan is at the rear and tilted upward at an angle. Even on the highest setting, it’s only mediocre. I spent many hours reviewing all brands and models, trying to make an informed choice. I chose this model because of its size, and I preferred a style that didn’t overwhelm the cooktop or interfere with cabinet doors when they were open. Broan also makes Nutone. I wish they would consult with women, the primary users, when designing their products.

I purchased it online because most stores don't carry the color I wanted. The first one was sent damaged, box was fine and the product had a big dent in it...so it was sent damaged. The second one came perfect, works very well. Was easy to enstall.

I had to reorder because the first one was damaged and not use able. When I received the second one it was a little damaged but installed anyways because it wasn't to bad and didn't want to wait another week to have it put up.

When it arrived the item was damaged. I was able to take it back to the store and return it. The excellent customer service at Home Depot ordered me a new one right away. However the 2nd arrived and had a small dent. I was able to install it for my customer without really noticing the dent.
