easy to install and very quiet
I installed 2 of these fans last weekend with an electronic timer and im very happy with the results. The design is very well thought out and all the pieces go together very quickly and disassemble just as fast. It’s so quiet I can barely hear that its on

Installing the fan was easy. Getting the 50 yo old fan out was not. No access to the attic space under the flat roof meant connecting/removing everything from a 9x10 hole. Took about 6 hrs to complete. Looks and works good though

Blower Motor
I have only had this unit installed for 18 months and it started making unusual noises. My guess is that the blower motor needs replacing as it sounded like the bearings were grinding before it went out.

What a breeze.....

Damper is making significant noise
When I pop out the fan from its housing, it seems like 2.0 Sones. But, when I put the fan into the housing, an inconsistent racket seems to be coming from the damper. Ugh!

Exhaust fan cover
I bought this fan in July to replace my old one it fit perfect. I was doing some spring cleaning and the clip broke off the inside of the cover so I can’t connect it to the ceiling. I was wondering how I go about getting a new cover.

A contractor installed this in our bathroom in April 2019. It has a sleep-depriving flaw. The exhaust opening includes a flap that easily swivels and makes tapping noises (sounds like water dripping). The solution was to temporarily remove the flap, add a weight (I used a bead of caulk) to the outside bottom of the flap, and reinstall.

Easy install and works great
Installed this myself. Product had well explained instructuons and has been working great for the 6 months we have had it. Glad I went with the higher CFM of 80 rather than 50.

Great fan-quiet
Replaced an older bath fan with the ARN 80 and find it is very quiet compared to our older one. Also easy to install. Does a fine job of venting
the moisture/steam when taking a shower. Couldn't have asked for a better replacement fan.

This is a 2 Sone unit, it should only be making an amount of noise comparable to that of a white noise machine. customer was not pleased with the noise new fan made....
customer was not pleased with the noise new fan made. { old fan was noisy as well and customer thought a new one would be quiet } The new fan squirrel cage is not running correctly as it wobbles in the fan enclosure. I will have to find a lower sone fan fan and replace.

The ARN80 ventilation fan is rated at 80 cfm's with 2.0 sones when using a 4" round duct size. The duct size should not be reduced. If you have questions about your installation, please give us a call at 800-637-1453.
