Awesome! Easy to install…went straight into the ceiling joist so didn’t get to try the anchor part, but that looks simple enough…

I hung a baseball on a string for my 8 u travel baseball team

We’ve used at least 4 of these hooks in our home - but we had to of purchased them 10 years ago. They look the same now, but immediately after opening the package you realize this weird composite material is NOT DEPENDABLE! The anchor itself easily snaps - i do not recommend and seriously Home Depot should replace this brand as soon as possible. Don’t sell trash like these!

Piece was unusable and broke in my hands when I tried to use it. Total waste of time and money.

I was nervous about using this since I had read some negative reviews but I have absolutely NOTHING negative to say about this -- our experience has been great. I've used these several times now in drywall in the ceiling (no studs) and never had an issue holding fairly heavy things, including a 3-tiered fruit/vegetable basket and a chandelier in one room. Installation took less than 5 minutes and was so easy. It was also really easy to remove when we moved out of our apartment and to quickly patch the ceiling. Would definitely recommend--this is a solid piece of hardware.

After trying to tighten it the outside screw broke twice

The design of the anchor leaves a lot to be desired. It takes too much torque to tip the it sideways and draw tight. Anchors spin, completely push through sheet rock, even by hand. Old fashioned toggle bolts were far superior.

if the thing hanging from the hook rotates then the hook can slide off.

I used this in my kitchen to hang my plant. Very easy to use and install. The swivel features helps me to rotate my plant for even sunlight coverage. Will be buying again once I get more indoor plants.

I tried using this on the ceiling in our bathroom and it didn't work great. I bore a whole through the ceiling that's bigger than the actual screw. Trying to get the screw to activate the mechanism so the bar would flip perpendicular was a pain in the butt. It's loose on our ceiling but I'm not worried it going to fall. But I will say the direction were kind of confusing.
