After just over one year of use the plate that holds the door has began to warp and peel. It looks as though it is metal but its actually some cheap plastic that looks like aluminum. We don't even use any harsh chemicals. Not to mention this is the plate that is not even touching the water. The part that is facing outside of the shower door has began to rot and decay. You can literally peel the aluminum looking material apart now. This is an extremely poor quality product with plastic that looks like metal. I would definitely recommend to stay away from this.

I chose to have this shower door professionally installed since I had to remove the old door and was not comfortable doing that. He installed it in about an hour and it looks great. We like it. So far it is living up to its billing.

From when I first installed this the glass seemed a bit flimsy. After being installed for about 2 months, today the door just shattered all over, with nobody in the bathroom. I thought something had fallen down in our kitchen or something, but later we found the door had shattered everywhere. Thank goodness this did not happen when we or our kids were using the shower, we were all in the kitchen and on deck. All the installation procedures were followed, hardware mounts all still solidly in place... glass just decided to shower. It was great while we had it (other than you could feel that the glass could barely support its self with the two anchor points). Operation was great, installation was easy, good swing etc... just glass not strong enough it seems. I will reach out to manufacturer and see if/ what they will do to replace the door. I really don't want to re-install the hardware! purchased may 2018.

I installed my shower door about a month ago. The instructions were simple and clear. I was confused when I was doing a final adjustment to the top side of the door and the sliding brace came loose. Then I realized that I had to use the small Allen wrench. I really focused on the use of that small wrench. All is well now.

This door was difficult to install because there aren't written instructions, only pictorial, and small pictures at that. We squinted and enlarged and then ended up guessing. We installed it just as the pictures showed, taking care to pay attention to the detailed pictures. We still have significant leaking at the bottom because the plastic sweep that is supposed to keep the water in is not long enough and there's a gap under the door. Tonight, 3 months after we started using it, the screw at the top came loose and the door fell off the top hinge. Thankfully it didn't break but it caused a significant problem. I hope it will hold up since there weren't many products that would fit our shower door opening. If you do buy this door, keep that little Allen wrench that it comes with handy as you'll probably need it every few months.

After seeing some new homes, I realized how outdated my shower door was. It wasn't broken, so it was a leap to purchase a new one. I loved the looks of this clear, frameless door but was worried about installing it. A neighbor came over to help, and it didn't go fast, but there were no problems at all! Reading other reviews helped. I could not believe how this door made my bathroom look so updated! It magnetically opens and closes, and it's very sturdy. I love this shower door!

First, I'll say GO WATCH THE YOUTUBE VIDEO! Just search "Foremost Cove Shower Door Installation" and you will be just fine. The written instructions are adequate, but the video (done by Foremost) really helps visualize all the steps. I'm a DIY-guy and was able to install this in a 24 3/4" enclosure without too much trouble. It works well, but is not ideally suited for larger enclosures. I say this because the magnetic jam is only attached via 2 metal screws (at the top & bottom). If you have to use the extender jam, then another attachment piece, and *then* the magnetic jam, it can get it a little losey-goosey. Once I tightened (and re-tightened) and cut off some of the magnetic strip, I was good to go. I will say, that magnet is strong! Oh, and no leaks or drips. But the door doesn't get much shower spray as our shower is kind of weird. The shower door is pretty solid and quite nice looking. It's not the professional frameless door we wanted, but that one was going to cost about $1,000 and the turn-around would be at least 2 weeks. Here's a tip: Make sure you use all the pieces before hanging the door! It wasn't until after installation that I realized the the door would need to come down for the rubber gaskets and the pivot caps. Doh!

Well- made sturdy door. Has a brushed knob to open the door. The knob adds a nice touch. Quick delivery. Arrived on time and in one piece. No issues. Looks really good.

Love the look but we've had this door for 2 years now and I need to let people know that the silver has begun to peel off. Nice, right? Yuck. The door also has fallen apart 2x. The situation is that the pin that is holding it up isn't "enough" and we have to be very careful with it. We had it professionally installed and the installer also told us how difficult it was to get in. It fell out of its pin one time and ripped our plastic trim to prevent leaks. So we have silver peeling off, a rip in the plastic, and also the plastic at the bottom has gotten very dingy in spite of our best efforts to keep it clean. We are having our shower redone in a few months and will probably need to get another door. So sad this one only last 3 years. How crazy is that? I wish it had a 5 year warranty against defects such as this.
