[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a true blue 75lb patio umbrella base. It is extremely stable and durable, even where I live - on the West Coast of California. We get a lot of wind and rain, but this umbrella isn't going anywhere.

I live in a windy area and I'm in need of a sturdy umbrella base for my 9 ft patio umbrella. This umbrella base is definitely heavy and sturdy enough. I actually needed help to move it but it does comes with wheels where you can tilt and roll. I like how the wheels are not sticking out and it's low profile. Overall the shape and design of the umbrella base is simple and classic. No fancy designs. The painting is nice right now and I hope it will stay with all the outdoor elements over time. It says it can hold umbrella up to 11 ft which is great because I may upgrade my umbrella soon.

californiaumbrella.com/en/terms-of-sales#warranty I called California Umbrella and hey said I voided my warranty due to moving the stand improperly Or I am out of the warranty window which again MEANS THEY KNOW THIS WILL HAPPEN! Two small welds hold the pipe to the base! Also, the bottom is SEALED so you can't just flip it over and figure out a way to make this work again. This company knew this would happen and set it up to fail and steal your money. This company makes me sick.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This umbrella base is built to last. I looks great and has done well in the current cold sometimes wet weather. I live in California and during the summer it gets to be very hot. It is nice to be able to sit out in the yard under an umbrella while my little one plays. This is perfect because you can use the knob to make sure your umbrella is secured in place. There is no chance your umbrella will get blown over with a 75 pound base. It has wheels on one side so you can tip it up and move it to wherever you want it to be. No more tipped over umbrella.

Very disappointed in this product. It arrived filthy in the box, had a layer of dust over the entire base. The wheels are useless and don't work. This is not very mobile at all. There is a sticker on the base that instructs you to not use the pole insert to lean back or forward to move it. It asks you to put your hands under the base to lift up onto the wheels. This is practically impossible if you have an umbrella in it, or without. I returned it.

Difficult to roll, expensice. .

I purchased 2 of these Jan 2022 and both of the bases, where the pole of the umbrella inserts, leans and there is no way to fix this. Now I have 2 leaning umbrellas that dont look good.

The weight is good but the screw in connection for the post is questionable and the cheap plastic ring on top to tighten the umbrella cracked on day 2.

Sturdy, does the job of holding our 9' umbrella steady. The inability to tilt it with the post (would void the warranty) is a drawback so strong hands and fingers are needed to lift it off the ground in order to engage the wheels - others have commented on this. But we like the plastic cover/coating on the stand that wasn't mentioned in the marketing materials - it protects the base from bird poop and water so rusting shouldn't be an issue.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This base is super heavy and sturdy and will hold up any umbrella you decide to put in it. I struggled with moving the base because it is so heavy, which makes sense since it is made of concrete. The bronze base color matches any umbrella color.

unless you have skinny fingers you are not going to roll it

It won’t blow over & it does stand up to wind, however if you ever plan to move it go ahead & just realize it’s going to be broken. We even rewelded the holder (after it broke off) & now the bottom is coming off. Not easy to move at all.

It was the stand recommend for the umbrella I bought. The umbrella wobbled too much so had to use a smaller umbrella with the stand. Disappointed
