Great product. Easy to install.

It had bubbles in it. Returned the useless junk because it was a terrible product

It’s just beautiful

they are easy to use. Cut to length, rip to width, add some polyurethane adhesive to the back and press in place. Use a pinner in a few spots for a temporary hold and you are good to go. Only drawback, some excess finish or debris from the manufacturing process on the surface.

Good color match to LifeProof Trail Oak although thicker - used some paper under plank to remedy. Cuts easily on table saw but make sure blade is low enough to not chip as much - this was on a brand new carbide blade.

Easy to work with. Good product but pricey.

Best invention for stair treads EVER!!

It looks more like a laminate than a vinyl. The vinyl layer is not as thick as the Life Proof Trail Oaks Vinyl flooring. But after installation, it looks good on the stairs. It has the same pattern as the vinyl flooring. However, is is too expensive, close to $50/step. So, it you have 15 steps, it cost you $750. Too much.Fortunately, I do not need the risers. I can use the vinyl flooring. Otherwise, the cost would be prohibitive.

After receiving the Cap a Tread which is a Type 1 I noticed on the back of the box a diagram of a Type 2 tread that is 2 3/16" high at the nose. I would prefer the Type 2 treads. I called the Home Depot on-line number to find out how to purchase the Type 2 tread. They were unable to find the Type 2 tread in your system. They gave me the phone number for the supplier, Zamma and I called them. Their recording said to leave a message but if they did not call back within 3 hours to email them. So I did, and they send me a reply telling me they received my email and would respond with in three days. Well, it's be almost two weeks with no response. Can you help me with purchasing the Type 2 treads? I need 15 treads and risers. The treads I ordered are 47" long with the Trail Oak finish.

Works and looks great...easy to install with basic to intermediate wood working skills. Watch youtube for tips and take your time..measure twice cut once...make template for the different side cuts around molding

Installs easily, looks great.Had to special order Type 2 as our treads were 1-1/2"Used left over plank from the rest of the floor for the risers much cheaper than $18-20 per riser.Did have to add non-slip carpet for the pup as the stairs for pets can be a bit slippery.For top stair preferred using a full tread to match up to the planking instead of stair nosing as we wanted them to match, cover the 1-1/2" tread and have more than 2-3/4" on top. This also allowed for us to move the T-Moulding away from the stair edge and match to an existing break point with the banister post support.

This is a cool product, but packaging was terrible, and the miter cuts were terrible! ALL of the boxes came damaged and beat up. I would have sent them all back, but of course they take forever to order. I was forced to make do. ALL of these treads came damaged on at least one end, some on both ends. The fine point of the miters were beat up, and had the finish bent out of shape. Also, the miter cuts were not cut in the right place. If you matched up the two points, it left a space between the return. They all had to be puttied and gaps filled in. Most of the return pieces were not even cut on the angle, but some were, strange. And the return pieces are NOT attached, as I thought they were.

Seems to clean easily. Good feel to walk on. No problems with installing. Looks great.
