- This product can be installed over radiant heat concrete subfloors. In-floor radiant components must be a minimum of ½ in. (13mm) below flooring and heating system should not allow floor surface temperature to exceed 85 degrees Fahrenheit (29 degrees Celsius). Heating system should be operational for at least two weeks prior to installation to calibrate temperature settings. Flooring cannot be laid directly over radiant heating mats. Please consult with the radiant heat system manufacturer to ensure that the system is compatible with vinyl flooring.

how many cases in a pallet
We have the Life Proof Trail Oak currently but our box says it’s 7 mil. Is it the same or did the thickness change? If it’s different, how do you accommodate the old thickness and new thickness flooring?
Thanks for your question. 7 mm refers to the entire thickness of the plank. The wear layer is measured in mil (6, 12, 22 or 30.) Some of the different products have different thicknesses so unless you're using the exact same product (same sku/model #) you'll need to use a t-molding/transition between.
What is the weight per box?

Is this Flooring low VOC?

What is actual color of this
Can you steam clean the flooring?
Thanks for your question. Only our 22 and 30 mil Lifeproof planks/tiles can be steam mopped.
Do you have to use an underlayment before installing
Thanks for your question. The planks have a pre-attached underlayment so it can be installed directly on top of your subfloor. If you'd prefer to use an additional underlayment, Lifeproof Underlayment is the only one approved. Any other type will void your warranty.
Can i mix 6 mil wear layer with 22 mil using 6 mil in low traffic areas and 22 mil in the higher traffic areas in the same floor?
Thanks for your question. We'd only recommend installing them together if you use a transition between the different products. We do not recommend locking them together.
