I’ve assembled a lot of furniture of this style, cabinets, grills, ellipticals, etc. but this one sucked. Plastic dowels, plastic L brackets, plastic handles, all crappy and cheap. The dowels were too big for the holes, the particle board is so delicate that the bottom and corners were bending/chipping out by the end of the assembly just from being moved across the floor during the process. Also, the back panel comes in a trifold that does not want to lay flat and is not quite big enough to meet all the edges of the cabinet evenly, so you have to wrestle it into place. Some holes were pre-drilled, but some weren’t. Sliding the doors/hinges into place was also a nightmare, they just wouldn’t all line up at the same time. Assembly took 4 days! Because I just kept hitting roadblock after roadblock. My parents had cabinets like this for decades so I thought it would be great for our household on a budget, but the quality has gone down the toilet. Will not buy again

I have had 5 of these cabinets over the years and they are wonderful. Very solid.

Instructions were easy to follow. Sections could be better marked though. Overall was pleased with the product for the price.

I read the product reviews beforehand and was hesitated to make the purchase. However, the actual product far exceeded our expectation. The instruction attached was very clear, and assembling was not hard. It took a whole evening for us due to the lack of power tools, but we would expect an hour or so assembly time if we got the correct tools. The finished cabinet looks very nice and feels sturdy. The only complaint is the odor. We put our air purifier inside overnight, and the smell is pretty much gone now.

I purchased this wadrobe cabinet a couple months ago and assembled it for a bedroom. It's been 2 months and the particle board odor has not dissipated. I may have to toss it in dumpster if K can't get the odor under control. I had purchased 2 of these identical models from Home Depot a decade ago. They were built with much better quality back then. The older models had both sides of particle board covered with white veneer and did not emit a strong odor! The current version of this product should not be used indoors!

Wao... the closet even looks more perfect in real than in pictures... I love it, it's so roomy and big enough for all my clothing, it's so strong in structure it will last the test of time, setting is so easy as we fixed it up by ourselves without help from any technician, it's easy to clean too because of it's laminated surfaces.... in short I made a good choice buying the closet.

Perfect for our needs and at the price. Surprisingly sturdy. We did replace the handles with nicer ones, but that's minor.

I ordered 2 of these and out then together with minimal assistance. Instructions were good but make sure you follow closely as I almost put the middle piece in upside down. They look great and give me the storage I need. They are exactly what I expected.

assembly was easy but is better with two especially because of the weight. Total assembly time was 1 hour. The quality was good and the end results were clean. Pay close attention to the assembly and make sure that the back of the finished cupboard is square before tacking on the back panel. I purchased 3 of them for my garage. The cupboards look great and contents clean. A great addition to my garage and helps keep things organized.

It has some scratches and the doors do not close together but it goes well for what I wanted

JUNK HORRIBLE quality. I followed the directions very carefully. The warning in the last step is to make sure the back (which is made of cardboard) is nailed to the back. After 3 of us tried to lift it from the top (like so many other reviews), it caved in and crumbled like a deck of cards. I'm borrowing language from another reviewer because this is exactly what happened to us. Worthless. It's now in pieces in the garage, and I'm requesting a $124 refund. I have put together MANY inexpensive pieces over the years, and I have never experienced anything like this. Never has an items just completely caved in on itself. Waste of money!

Package came with one of the doors with damage. Product is poorly made, it is not strong enough.

Bought these for my 3 teenage children who needed more space. I Added a few boxes with lids and things fit perfectly. Two thumbs up

I recently purchased this Wardrobe Cabinet for my father for his "Man Cave," and he absolutely loves it! We have been talking about making this happen for quite some time. I called in my order, and I really enjoyed the call center agent. I live in a different state than my father so I was a bit concerned at first. This is my first shop online/pick up in store experience with this particular retailer. It felt good to have a phone rep that knew what he was doing. My biggest concern was if the store would assemble it for us because if they didn't I wasn't going to purchase it at all. Before taking my payment info the phone rep called the store closest to my home town, and confirmed that they would in fact assemble it at no extra cost to me! I was super, duper excited! Everything went according to plan. I had a friend of the family go pick it up, and deliver it right to my Dad's "Man Cave." My advise: If you are a DIY type okay, but if you don't have that kind of time, or patience please check with your store. Have them assemble it for you. Don't have a store close? There are other options for that too. Yes, it may cost extra, but you get what you pay for. I read some of the reviews, and I am glad they didn't discourage me, and plus I used to take calls for a similar retailer. So, I know the drill far too well. I feel if some people would've just had HD build it for for them they wouldn't have had issues like missing parts or doors that didn't quite fit correctly. If that would've happened on HD's watch they would already have the parts needed to fix the situation. They could also contact the manufacture and report the problem to improve future product from them (maybe). Happy Shopping!

I would not recommend this product. I purchased two for additional storage in my garage. Upon opening the first carton one of the doors was not fabricated for the hinges and the door handle. I was able to do an exchange at my local HD. Upon completion of both closets I was not able to adjust the doors properly. I followed the instructions, watched videos online and was still not able to adjust the doors. I contacted Closet Maid and they suggested returning and repurchasing the units. These cabinets weigh close to 200 lbs. each. To dismantle them, return them, and start all over without assurances from the manufacturer that the outcome would be different was absurd. Whatever happened to quality control at the factory level? Overall these cabinets are not sturdy. I had to install braces to strengthen the movable shelves. I am surprised that HD continues to carry this product!!

Easy to assemble and was what we expected. We did 3 of them and they all were packaged well. All are in service and meeting expectation.

I put 'L'' brackets in each corner, front and back as well as under each shelve; very strong now !!

ordered these online pick up store each weight almost 200 lb. one will do the job in my kids room. the other one has broken door. poor handling at the store

This cabinet was purchased to store all of our cleaning supplies for our office. It is large enough to fit the industrial mop bucket, vacuum cleaner and all of the cleaning supplies and bins. I like the large storage space and shelves; it even has a rod to hang rags to dry.

Okay, let me start by saying that putting this 200 lbs. wardrobe together is a (rhymes with) witch. It took myself and a pal three-plus hours to figure it out. Here are some of the issues: 1. The pieces in the instructions are labeled with letters, but the actual pieces aren't. So there is no way of matching them up by letters. 2. The instructions themselves are pretty poorly written - and the drawings are substandard. 3. Why is there no assembly video online? That would make it so easy. If you don't know what you're doing - you will make mistakes, use the wrong pieces and mess up the wood paneling while you try to figure it out. Having said that - once it's done (and you've sufficiently pulled your hair out) - the wardrobe itself ain't half bad. It holds a ton of stuff - much more than the pictures the brand shows. The closet rod is good for shirts, folded hanging pants, skirts, jackets (it's 45 inches from rod to bottom) - if you are looking to hang dresses or long coats, it ain't gonna happen (unless you can hack it like a pro). Speaking of hacking, there are only 2 flexible shelves but plenty of options to customize with added shelving (hello visit to home depot wood department to cut appropriate shelf sizes and buy more shelf pins). I'm sure some closet organization YouTube videos can render a ton of organization ideas. Full disclosure: I actually bought 2 wardrobes so one could be for clothes, shoes and accessories and the other for hair, makeup and misc. - but I've only had the stamina to build one so far. So yes, worth the buy in the end - just be ready for the headache to get there.

Would not buy this again. As other people have stated it is heavy, requires more than one person, needs to be deeper for hanging clothes and the center divider should have been pre-drilled for proper alignment. I have spent over 3 hours just trying to get one of the doors to close properly. Not sure what the secret is (took woodshop as kid, built climbing wall, installed chair rail molding, etc.). Taken hinges off, re-installed. Still can’t get door to close. Cabinet is fine if you dont plan on using doors. Won’t buy this again. Probably won’t come up as verified buyer since it was purchased on wifes credit card.

I was looking for the similar wardrobe and saw $250 in amazon. Then i looked for more and saw this for only $114! When I saw this, i immediately bought it and went to the home depot to pick it up. I'm a woman and can't even push or pick it up because it's too heavy so good thing I asked my brother and my guy friend to go with me. We were using 2 2-door cars (cuz we dont have any available bigger cars to use) and it fitted perfectly inside my friends car. He had to put down the seat beside the driver's seat. You'll need 2-3 men to carry and assemble it cuz it is REALLY HEAVY, and my brother and I took 4 hours to assemble it. The quality is really good and very big, and spacious for this price. Love it~~~♡

Everyone expects a few nicks and scrapes on these big wardrobes. I was not expecting what I got. Worst is the horrible warped side panel, the backbone of the wardrobe. It is so badly warped that the door doesn't clpsr properly and sits at an angle. The cardboard backing sticks out the edge. In additikn there is a scratch full length on one door. The top edge of the same door is badly scratched. One of the pieces meant to keep the wardrobe from tipping was missing. Of course the directions for attaching the kick stand are ambiguous (took way too long to decipher the cryptic instuctions). The shelf holes were not drilled properly. By the time I realized that the side panel was horribly warped, I had spent hours buying

Fairly easy to put together. The product is heavy and not easy to move my oneself. After building product, I didn't have any problem moving it around. Nice space and good flexibility with shelving. Using in my garage and made my organization much neater and easier to find items being stored.

These cabinets are big and they have lots room inside. The white color looks great.

Assembly was easy. It is very heavy in the box so you will need 2 people to move it. It is the perfect amount of storage for coats., shows and seasonal gear. My wife wanted something in the basement for that type of stuff. For the price it is UNBEATABLE.

I like this product, yet it was more of a project to put together than I would have preferred. I converted it into something that would work better for hanging more shirts, so I didn't put in any shelves other than the top shelf. It's being used as a clothing wardrobe in a bedroom. Overall, it took two people (myself and my mother) to put it together and it took a few hours. The doors were a little crooked so I definitely recommend making sure the corners are square and level. Sturdy and adaptable product.

Assembly is a two person job. Would be very difficult with only one person but not impossible. Wardrobe is sturdy and easy to use.
