Its a darn good light for the month ive had it, i use it every day... Well night i guess. Sometimes in the day too if i need to.

Nice small easy to use comfortable to wear headlamp. Bright on high. Dimming mode prolongs battery life. Like the back battery compartment with rubber inner battery cover. Once adjusted stays in place. After several months use satisfied with every aspect, especially tilting ability to light at feet. Great for power outages, working and being able to see without having to hold or prop light. Very handy for night snow blower oil checks and fueling. Recommend this handy durable bright light.

These headlamps that go on your head or hard hat made by Coast are a great addition to any one's toolbox. Has an ultra view flood light that burnt at 300 Lumens. There are also hard hat clips that come in the package to clip around the edge of a hard hat so the light will be fixed to the hard hat.One never wants to look at directly at the light for the fact it may hurt your vision. The package says the runtime for the batteries that will last 14 hours but I have found that they kind of run less than that depending on I'm assuming what type of battery and who's brand of battery you're using but regardless of that when you're working in a dark these things are the best instead of holding the flashlight wherever you look there's the light the only way to go.

The Coastal HL40 alkaline headlamp is a very handy, no-hands headlamp that is worn on your head. The headband is about 1” wide and is very comfortable to wear. Not only does it come with the usual band that is worn around the head but there is a third band that runs from front to back. The band is elastic and fully adjustable. Also included in the package are 4 plastic clips that will hold this unit securely onto a hard hat. The battery pack (3 AAA batteries) is separate from the light unit and is located at the back of the head when worn. It is attached to the light via a flexible black wire. The light pivots up and down on a rivet that allows the beam to be aimed straight ahead or be tilted downward to light the ground in front of you. The power switch is located on the light. I’ve used mine to walk my dog late at night. I have also used it to light the interior of a circuit breaker panel while at work keeping both of my hands free. The LED beam is extremely bright on HI and much dimmer on LOW. The light appears to be about 5000k. It is made in China.

The Coast HL40 is a very good headlamp and the limited lifetime warranty offers great peace of mind.

Im unable to write a proper review at this time due to the fact that my order has been miss placed. Date of purchase was black friday and here we are on the cusp of Christmas.

Very nice. Headband is little snug for a big head but I know they stretch over time. My old ones are too loose.

I've now bought two of these. They work great at a good price.

The first one I bought didn’t work. Swapped batteries and still nothing. A quick exchange, and I was in business. Very bright light for the price. I love it!

This is a great light. Use it a lot at work. Great in the attic or closet. Provides enough light to see well.

The light is bright and shines in the direction where your looking. Fits comfortably on my head. I would recommend this flashlight. Your hands are free to do what you have to.
