Works great and lights up the whole backyard

Easy to assemble. Great size and very bright light!

The lights work great. The only issue I had with the install was the mounting screws would not line up with my junction box. I wound up just using one mounting screw which holds just fine.

Does not provide enough sensitivity for the motion sensor to perform effectively.

Easy to install, motion sensor works very well and the ability to reposition the motion sensor made this the perfect light for the ceiling of my closet.

Installed in a bedroom closet, works great, and provides perfect lighting! It was an easy install, just like any other light fixture, but would be great if it had a quick wire connect like fire alarms instead of holding the fixture to wire it up.

2 out of 3 lights ordered work ok. One has a bad timer selector switch and I have to return them.

Should have the ability to attach to a hex box using two screws as well as a square box.

Purchased this light for a closet, it’s perfect!

Used as an under counter light. I did not have a switch wired in and needed an other light in my garage over the sink. This worked out fantastic. Pros: 3 settings =selectable -timer off setting. Motion turn on is swiveling, since mine is mounted against a wall, i turned 45 degrees. Cons: flimsy backing plate, holes for a ceiling box are oriented weird. auto off switch is internal, need to remove housing to change. Overall, its a nice , tidy light, and very bright.

This is a simple fixture to install - surface mount to wall or ceiling and no wall switch is required, although I'd recommend one since there's no shut off on the light. I suppose if you wanted it to stay off, you could point the motion detector to an obscure corner where it wouldn't trigger. But a power switch on the unit would have made it a more complete design. Wire connections are straightforward and the fixture is light weight so it shouldn't take a lot of effort to hang. Material and build quality are average and certainly adequate for its purpose. Operationally, it throws out plenty of well-dispersed light at 4000k color temperature, which is probably good for a closet where you don't want it too yellow or blue. The only adjustment is the lighting duration - 2, 5, or 15 minutes. The detector is on a swivel ball, and it's both delicate and vulnerable to damage if it can be reached. It's reasonably sensitive mounted at 8' high on my 9.5' wall. I pointed the detector at the closet door way and it triggers as soon as you walk in. Although it will remain on if I'm quickly in and out, it's LED and at 16 watts, doesn't consume enough power to worry about.

This sure beats the 18" mini-fluorescent tube fixture installed in the closet by the contractor. There is lots of light now. The instructions are easy. The motion sensor turns on the light and there is an auto shutdown that can be set for 2, 5, or 15 minutes depending on the customer's needs. I have selected 5 minutes, which is the default set by the factory. The time is selectable by a switch under the light cover, but with the low power consumption, you won't use much power if you leave it on longer. This unit could be mounted in locations other than a closet if you want to have an automatic light in some other location.

Finally someone invented a replacement device that makes sense! If you've ever replaced one of those familiar looking closet fixtures from the 80's, the ones with a fluorescent tube, you probably cursed as much as I have trying to replace it with the newer style of the same. Why? The metal body device expects you to be able to house the wires inside of the fixture and get that darn metal cover back on. Okay, what makes this different is a few things. This does NOT want you to put this flat walled without a surface or recessed junction box. You should mount this to a box. If you don't have one, they cost almost nothing but you mount the box, and put the electrical connections into the box (as per electrical code) then mount this unit to the box. Easy, makes sense, and looks great plus makes a clean install without any worries about the unit, connections, etc. being done wrong. The cover has two clearly labelled slides that you move to be able to open the cover. No crazy fitting/snapping/etc. to make it fit - it just works so well. This is the gold star replacement for those closet lights that are burning out and needing bulbs replaced. With the long life of the LED's this will never need to be replaced, I'm sure. And the light that comes out of this is blinding if you are doing bench testing of the unit before install - I know because I'm still trying to overcome the bright light I experienced. Super bright. Fills the room/area with a tremendous amount of light. NOT blue light, a nice white light that is what you always wanted to help see what you are looking at in the closet. You won't be disappointed with this light. The built in motion detector is a great application to either save having to put in a switch, or if you have a switch, you can leave it on, and when you move within the area, it will come on for a predetermined amount of time, with the ability to adjust it to one of three settings for how long you want it to stay on.
