I replaced my old tube light in the garage with this LED light and it is now much brighter inside the garage. First I removed my old light and that took only a few minutes. The slow part was reading the manual to make sure I don't miss any steps. The installation was quick and easy. Total time spent was under an hour. No bulb ever to change on this light since it is rated for 60,000 hours. That is over 20 years of daily 8 hour use. So this is probably the last time I would have to change that light out.

I'm using this Commercial Electric 4 ft. White Integrated LED Multi-Volt Commercial Wraparound Light 4000K Bright White 4300 Lumens 0-10v Dimmable for our kitchen. It looks very professional and is very bright. It actually is too bright, so I'll be installing a 0-10V transformer to dim it. Installation was straight forward, no surprises. It comes fully assembled. As stated above I haven't installed the dimming portion of it yet, but it doesn't look too complicated.

Very bright and relatively easy to install. I installed it by myself, it took about and hour. This light is perfect for my laundry room, where I wanted a nice bright light. As part of the installation I did remove the outer, plastic swing-down cover by bending two small tabs at each end. It made it easier to position. However, the cover should be put back on before permanently mounting to the ceiling. Perfect for my laundry room.

Non-removable cover gets in the way during install. Didn't like the cheesy wiring push-in connectors. The power supply made a very noticeable hissing/buzzing noise that you could hear across the room.

These lights are perfect for the playroom where they were installed. They're very bright and more white colored than the soft-white fluorescent bulbs we had before. Almost too bright and too white, but the room is definitely better lit than it was before The one disappointment is that our electrician discovered that they're not dimmable with a standard dimmer you would use on other lights around the house. They require an additional wire run from the lights to the switch and a special dimmer switch. That wasn't possible, so we aren't able to dim the lights.

Great lights. I used them in a 20' X 20' walk in refrigerator here at work. I used the motion sensor that goes with them and you walk in and... Nice bright light. i couldn't be happier

This replaced some old fluorescent lights. Fairly straightforward installation. The led lighting is way better than the previous lights and uses less energy. The styling fits also.

Easy to link multiple units when installing. Vastly better performance during the winter (in the unheated garage) than the fluorescents they replaced.

Commercial Electric's 4 foot wrap around LED 0-10 volt dimmable light was tested with a Lutron MS-Z101 PIR/ dimmer and worked well for the $60 cost. I recommend it, but note that the "linkable" connector cable was not provided with my model, so if you plan to link units you'll need to make sure to specify their models that include the linkable cables. Also, you'll need a 0 - 10 volt compatible dimmer controller to dim the fixture.

Really like it. Easy to install, metal construction, and has a metal cover over all the internal wires.

Have now bought 3 of these. Easy to install, cover secure, won't fall off like other one's I have used. Bright! Perfect for a small room, garage, etc. Great sale price. The secure cover was the big selling point for me and was very statisfied with that. Though not easy, I was able to install it by myself without help if you take the cover off. Still better and safer with 2 people

Well made bright light fixture, I only wish it did have a plug in option. I bought 3 and would by more when needed

I bought to replace my garage lighting. The hard part of installation was working over my head to align and center the light. That done, the wiring was easy. I installed both in 3 hours. Opening the cover to access the wiring is easy. Most importantly, it's easy to figure out—basically lift it—there's nothing like a subtle notch you need to hit or reading the instructions to find the hidden flange. The wrap design looks good and shines light smoothly out to the sides as well as down. My shelves are now fantastically illuminated. It's a bath of light, far better than the stock single point bulbs that were replaced. -1 on value because the efficiency isn't bad but it's not the best. Litetronics has 4' or 8' LED strip lights with color temp options, 2 brightness options, double the warranty (10yr vs this 5yr), and 130 lumens/watt (vs this at 110 lumens/watt). The Litetronics looks harder to install but I honestly don't know that. It's within range of being the same price or cheaper, depending on the distributor. Might be harder to get in your area? Buying from Home Depot is easy. I don't spend long hours in the garage, so for the sale price and ease of installation (and perfectly fine specs as it is), this light is a great choice.

Great product. Easy to install.

Better construction quality than the shop lights that I have bought (other brands) in the past. Well written instructions. On the box it says that the light color is 4000 degrees K. It is much less harsh than the 5000 degree light from many competing LED florescent replacement products but if you are replacing a florescent fixture that has tubes with "RES" or "RESIDENTIAL" stamped on them then they were probably producing a light color closer to 3000 degrees K, which is somewhat yellow. The new fixture will give you light that is quite a bit whiter and somewhat harsher. Light output is advertised to be 4300 lumens, which is close to what a 4' dual tube T12 florescent fixture produces. It seems like the new fixtures produce even more light in my garage than the florescent fixtures they replaced, maybe because LED fixtures produce all of their light in the downward direction whereas florescent tubes radiate light sideways and upward too and depend on the white baffles in the fixture to redirect light downward. Be aware that the LEDs are mounted on two strips of metal that are integral to the product. If they conk out you can't just change tubes but if they last 60,000 hours, as advertised, who could complain? By the way, this product comes well packaged. Lessens the chance of finding a banged up product that has to be exchanged when you open the box at home.

I use this light to replace an old fluorescent lamp fixture. I was tried of replacing old lamp bulbs that would fall and break. It was easy to install. I wired it so I could plug it into an outlet. It come with wiring for a dimmer switch which I did not have a need for. What i like best is it really throws off a good amount of light. It hangs over my work bench which needs good illumination.

This 4 ft. LED shop light has a Wraparound shield that lights from the sides and downward for all around illumination. I installed in in my garage attic and it lights up the whole space, the wrap around is nice because it does not blind you if you look up. It is nice and bright with 4300 Lumens of brightness, you can see everywhere in your desired space.
