More Outlets Are Always A Good Thing.
This Power Strip Has 7 outlets for grounded electrical plug in connections and two USB ports. One of those two is a USBC connection so that you dont need to use an adapter to use a newer USBC cord. The eight foot long cord makes it very easy to locate the power strip where you need to have additional power. It has an on off switch so you can power everything plugged into it with the throw of a single switch. The angled flat plug on the cord does not stick out very far from the wall and goes nearly straight down from the main outlet it is plugged into.

Well designed, good length cord.
Care has been taken with the design of this surge protector. The cable is a decent length which makes it that much more useful. The plug that goes into a power receptacle has been designed so that it is flat and does not cover the second receptacle. An indicator light indicates if the power supply is properly grounded, and a second indicator shows that the protection is in place. Once a power spike damages the protector the indicator light will now longer show that protection is being provided. There is a reset switch on the side. There are two mounting hole on the back to allow it to we wall mounted. One of the sockets is spaced apart from the others so that a wall wart can be plugged in without obstructing the other six sockets. It looks like there would have been room for the same thing to be done at the other end, making it possible to use two such transformers. In addition to the 7 outlets, there are two USB ports, the classic USB-A and a USB-C which is starting to become a standard power source format across the globe. The two USB ports can provide a combined output up to 18 Watts. The device can protect up to 2100 Joules of energy. The box advertises that they will replace up to $200K of equipment that is damaged by a surge or spike when connected to the protector, but I see no information on how to make a claim. The instructions have a warning: Do not install this device if there is not at least 30 feet (10 meters) or more of wire between the electrical outlet and the service panel. This is because the surge protector relies on some impedance in the house wiring to function. The limitation is rather severe though. A house with 3 levels and a 32’x32’ footprint will have many of the power receptacles within 30’ of the distribution panel. Furthermore, determining the cable run route in order to determine the distance is not easy for consumers. This is a common problem for surge protectors, and the longer the run of wire the better the protection you will have. That is no solace if the equipment we need to connect is just a few feet above the distribution panel. Well better than nothing perhaps. I suspect that if one was to have a loss of equipment they would first determine if it was plugged in within 30’ of the distribution panel and deny any claim if not. So far, it seems to be working but I have no idea if we have had any spikes or surges. Made in China

Good value for my needs
This seems to be a well-made surge protector and has plenty of places for me to plug in my floor fans and my chargers for my battery powered tools. The plug-in end is one of the wall-hugger type, which I don't need, but it is good in a lot of places. The only thing I don't really love on it is that the on/off switch is on the side instead of the top. Being lazy, I tend to switch them off with my foot, which is harder with this one. But that is not really much of a problem. Of course, the only way to tell if a surge protector is a good one is to have a power surge or lightning strike... which I haven't had since I got this one (but the reason I needed a new one is that the last close lightning we had fried my old one). Time will tell if it really is a great product.

Well designed multi outlet surge protector
I plan to use this surge protector for my computer, printer, modem, speakers, etc. that all connect at my desk. This surge protector is well thought out - the outlets are spaced wide apart allowing you to connect equipment that use a transformer. It has a flat plug that saves space and is out of the way. It also has an USB -A port and USB-C port. It has 7 outlets and an 8 foot cord. It is black in color so it will blend in on the floor behind my desk. It also has indicator lights that light up to show "protected" and "grounded" status. It is also rated for 2,100 joules surge protection.

Perfect Outlet Surge Protector
This CE 8 ft. 7-Outlet Surge Protector with USB is great. I just needed a simple multi outlet surge protector and this one works out beautifully. I love the 8 foot cord because I like to hide it under or behind furniture and the long cord makes it easy to access. It also has a nice flat plug itself, so it doesn't stick out awkwardly behind your furniture. I also love that it has a usb charger built in too. Even with all the wiresless things in use, I still have alot of things that need to be plugged in and for some reason they always seem to be just out of reach of the nearest wall outlet so this CE outlet/surge protector is exactly the solution. The plug ins are spaced nice ad wide to accomodate different sized plugs and that is important. The last one is spaced further to accomodate a wider plug. There is an on/off switch and the usb chargers are located at the end. It also has a reset button and the 2 green lights marked 'grounded' and 'protected' let you know it's good to go. It's pretty sturdy and well made. It seems very durable and made to last a very long time. The cord is really thick and heavy duty. I definitely recommend!

A lot of good features
This Extension Cord has a lot of great features. First, it's 8' long, which is great and gives you a lot of flexibility when you have several things to plug in. Second, it has a surge protector joule rating of 2,100. This is definitely a must if you have a lot of expensive electronics. Third, it has 7 outlets, one of which is further than the others, allowing you to plug in something that has a large bulky plug. Fourth, it has an outlet for a USB and USC cord. Fifth, it has a low profile, space saving, flat plug. The only downside to this extension cord is that the plug outlets are spaced very close together. If you want to plug in several phones, their charger plugs are bulky, and you'll have to use every other outlet.

This ticks off all the boxes for what I wanted in an outlet strip
Commercial Electric got it right on this outlet strip… 8 ft cord, 7 surge outlets with up to $200,000 to cover damages if the surge protection fails, LED indicate when the surge protection is active, and another indicates if the strip is grounded properly, the outlets are perpendicular to the strip, which cuts down the likely hood of some of the outlets being blocked by other plugs, and a plug that hugs the wall rather than sticking our 4 or 5 inches. Rated at 15 amp, protected to 2,100 joules what more could you want… oh yeah, it has the slots for the screws running both ways from the holes for the screw heads, so you can mount it on the wall without the cord sticking up in the air.

Well made, simple to use surge protector. Suitable for home or small business electronics
Well made, simple to use surge protector. Suitable for home or small business surge protection for your home theater system, computer, or stereo etc. Rated at 15A, 2100 joules of surge protection. Equipped with seven AC outlets, a USB-A outlet, and a USB-C outlet. THINGS I LIKE One AC outlet is spaced away from the others so you can plug in a large AC/DC adapter without having to cover up another AC outlet. Slim profile makes it suitable to place behind a couch or a desk. It also has an 8 foot cord and low profile, space saving wall plug. USB-A outlet, and a USB-C outlets. $200,00 connected Equipment damage warranty. Two LEDS indicate that the unit is properly grounded and protected. THINGS THAT COULLD BE IMPROVED: The three prong low profile plug could be rotatable to adjust to different wall socket orientations.

I like the USB-C port addition
This is the longest power strip I’ve ever had at 14 in. The 3-prong power receptacles face out the side, which I prefer for fitting plugs, but are very close to each other. There is one that has extra space around it for those giant DC converter plugs that too many electronics have. Still, there seems to be an over-abundance of space above that port. I would have liked to see all receptacles spaced more and less empty space. Also, the top of the strip curves up so some adapters can’t plug fully into the top receptacle. Glad that both a regular USB AND USB-C port are included because I have both type cables. I like when power strips accommodate lots of options. That said, I’d prefer the USB ports off the center so a cord coming off the last port’s adapter in that direction can’t possibly get in the way (like in one of my photos). I like that it not only has a protected indicator light, but also a grounded indicator. I’ve always lived in old homes so that is quite helpful with the crazy wiring they can have. This way I know whether it’s my wiring or the unit itself that is the issue. I also like the long 8ft. cord and flat, angled plug. Both really help to plug it in behind furniture and get the strip to a convenient use location. It has and hanging holes on the back too. Good multi-use power strip protector but some receptacle placement changes could improve it.

This 8 ft. 7-Outlet surge protector was recommended by our electrician to protect our new television from surges. We had to replace our last television due to damage from an electrical power surge.

I don’t like the way the plug is. It would not stay plugged in because the cable company uses the bottom outlet. I returned it
